I truly appreciate the information, mine is an 82 and after watching your video and just following some of your advice I was able to get mine to work after 4 years!

Wow, you have an excellent power of concentration, in the moment! Thanks I’ve got a 75 B-300 sportsman Chinook. Now I understand the cluster workings in detail. Simplified.

my 72 b100 had this issue and it turned out to be the actual light switch that turns the headlights on. I noticed when turning it to dim that the lights would flash on for just a second. Changed it and the lights worked again. Great video though. made sense of a lot of things, thanks.

I also have a 79 and I’m brand new to these trucks. They don’t seem too difficult.

Like the other comments say thank you for the video. I’m nearing the end of my restoration on a ‘79 power wagon & the gauges are not working.

Thanks for the video. It should help a lot to figure out why my instrument cluster lights don’t work. I’ve looked at multiple resources and they are contradictory as to what light bulbs the cluster takes. Could you point me in the right direction please?

Try a bulb #194 made by Phillips, Hella, Wagner,or Sylvania. Different manufacturers but the bulb #194 is the same. Hope it’s the right one for you.
