You nailed it Auston, very clear presentation
Thanks for this. I have an '83 Crown Victoria with the same issue, I'm sure the same basic principles apply.
Yes should be pretty much the same concept!
I like how big that speedo is.
luv 62's...so doggone weird. just did the exact same thing in my old Ranchero...face full of greasy dirt as well. although my tank was not salvageable, so it got a new tank and sending unit.
Ty, awesome job, Having same issue with my 62 Newport, Love your car also, cheers Jackie
Hope you get it sorted out!
Cheers Austin good video, both my gas gauges in my Mopar's are not working very well and now i know how to fix them.
@@grantberecry Get em workin!
@@ObsoleteAutomotive OK i will
Do a video on speedometer and idk what is called but it’s what shows you that gear you are one. Park, reverse, neutral, drive. Someone said it might be the linkage but if you could show that, that would be awesome, thanks bro
Not sure what you’re asking. If this car was an automatic it would have a pushbutton gear selector. What “gear” you’re in is whatever button is pushed in.
@@ObsoleteAutomotive no bro I have a 1983 dodge b250 and when I move the lever it doesn’t show me the gear I’m in so whenever I put it in drive I’m always guessing what gear I’m in, so sometimes I think I’m on drive and then I’ll go in reverse because it doesn’t show me on the dash what gear I’m in. The lever isn’t loose or nothing it just doesnt indicate the gear I’m in. Sorry for the last response I read it and barely made sense lol but hopefully this explains what I’m talking about
@@FelipeRodriguez-eh6ty if you look under the dash (probably have the remove the lower dash panel) there’s a wire that connects to the gear indicator. That probably needs repaired/adjusted.
@@ObsoleteAutomotive thanks bro
