Find the one that is connected to the router and THEN go to your wifi settings and connect your device to it." I'd imagine I had to "find" the deco on the wifi settings page of my devices; I started to get confused when it said "THEN go to wifi page". Where was I supposed to find the deco before that?? 2. Why does it want me to connect to the router deco?? Wouldn't it make more sense for the bedroom deco to connect to the router deco, and for me to connect to the bedroom deco? 3. When I connect to the bedroom deco connection is weak, as if no deco has been set up. When I connect to the router deco [from the bedroom] it says "connected without internet". 4. The decos don't have a number underneath them that distinguishes them from one another. I just guess which is which based on how their connections are power-prioritized on the wifi connection page on my phone. 5. Nowhere through this process has been asked of me to insert any deco-related numbers into anywhere, which I imagined had to happen at some point.
I connected two boosters then the third won't connect unless I connect a ethernet cable but then the app thinks I'm starting from set up again..plus my app has nothing on like add additional boosters?

Same issue for me. I see you made this comment a year ago. Did you find the solution?
@@mattschatz4864 I know me too it's so chaotic. The instruction is a complete mess. I thought we had to go to a webpage to choose between a router mode, access point mode or range extender mode? Can this be connected wirelessly?
After the mesh is successfully setup, can you remove the cable connecting to the main router?
yes
No you can’t
nope
Hi. I've got a question. If I see clearly... Does the first deco stay near the router all of time? (connected with ethernet cabel).
No it doesn't have to be near the modem if you have a long ethernet cable.
What if its in the 2nd floor?
@@Angel-sk7gr if you connect it via ethernet (modem to deco) then it's fine but this way you can lose signal on 1st floor unless you put the 2nd deco on first floor.
It's a mesh network, all deco need to communicate to cover the house with signal
@@muatazjabri thanks!
@@muatazjabri that's a stupid fucking answer
Can I use this to connect to cable tv in my room from the living room?
Does the 3 devices have lan ports? Planning to connect it to my pcs or other routers. Is it possible?
my question is how do i get the routers in different rooms? do i have to have an ethernet cable running through the whole house or what?
can we use this as a wireless extender without connected to ethernet cable(i mean can we use a single deco to my existing another router
I have this 3 package but I want to add one more device to be total 4, is that possible?
do i have to buy 2 in order for it to work? can i just buy one? and what if i dont have a modem
Can this work with an existing router?
Please does it work anywhere in the world, especially in Africa?
Can it be connected without sim ??😊
Did anybody experience low internet speed after adding additional Deco? I have an M4 connected to the main router (from ISP) and an E4 as an add on. After running some speed test, I am only getting way below half my normal internet speed. I’m not sure if this was because of 2 different Deco models. If anybody could enlighten me please. Thank you
yes, am having the same problem too, the speed seems like half of the full speed and much better without the M4. maybe anyone could help, perhaps better to set it up as an access point instead of router mode
Same problem here
Can I use it as an access point to google wifi router?
Hmm I have an alcatel lucent i24g as a modem, but when I want to connect the deco directly to modem it doesn't work. I already entered pppoe credentials in deco m4 app. But, when I connect modem>archer c1200>deco m4 and set deco m4 to dynamic ip it works. Can any1 help me?
It keeps loosing internet connection even I'm connected
same like me
Can i transfer this device to my basement after is set up to connect to a desktop with a lan?
It's need sim card and load?
Question here, please. Will it be okay to use this particular kind of mesh with a 20-25mbps main broadband speed?
Absolutely
Question I setup our deco and turned on guest network but then I turned it off again and it kicked my mom and our desktop pc off the network. Her wifi on phone wouldn't pick up the deco network at all... I couldn't understand why.... I eventually thought to turn guest network on again and it wfor some reason worked and connected her phone...i can't see anywhere on the app that I chose her devices to be on the guest work... The desktop pc also alerted me that it is using the same ip address as another device on the network.... Now is that because I made guest network and main network passwords the same??? We have also been getting a weird voip call from 1001 since I installed the deco
Can we setup 2 or more different deco units in single mobile and tplink account at different places.
Like x60 and m4 in same mobile app and account in different places.
@tp link
can this be connected to a router wirelessly?
no they need a 5+ minute long video with vibe BG music to answer that
If your deco is not working is because you do not need to restart your MODEM,
And open the app only when you linked your first deco to the modem.
I'm confused about many things on the last step of the app:
1. It says "multiple decos are found.
Bonjour j'ai branché le premier boîtier a la box et le second se branche seulement sur une prise dans une autre pièce ? Merci pour votre retour
Is it possible to connect mobile hotspot to wifi mesh and then share internet?
Merci. Cordialement.
Does the first one have be connected via ethernet the whole time?
Is it possible to use only one deco unit? Like connect it directly to wifi router and then connect a LAN cable directly to deco to PC?
Yes it possible
does it work as a AP?:)
Clean video. It matches the device's and Deco app's mood: minimalistic!!! Easy to follow. Easy to setup. Breezy connection.
So from the main router how far will the signal be increased to on wifi?
Sorry - am i missing something.. Doesnt the ISP modem/router need to be placed in Bridge mode? why is no one mentioning this?
Can i put a lan cable to connect my cctv from the other floor? I hope someone will answer. Thank you
