Your first denarius is of Hadrian, the same cognomen is also isued in the early years of his adopted son Antoninus Pius, but not by Trajan. The other coins you don`t know: 6:39 Severus Alexander, 222-235 12:30 Salonina, wife of Gallienus, 260-268 20:30 City of ULM (Germany), 1 Kreuzer 1624
Thanks man, we shall see about next video, most fields are seeded so maybe some forest and ww2 detecting but for sure something, stay tuned and enjoy :-)
right now they are mostly in the boxes, because no enough space in my house, but have plans one day to build separate building for my stuff, I also collect militaria so i need big spaces. Glad you liked the video, cheers!
Amazing findings! Can i ask you for something? Is it allowed by law to search with metal detector in Romania and how is it with law and metal detecting in Romania? I was thinking that one day i could visit Romania with metal detector. Greetings from Czech Republic
Great hunt with 2 amazing silver romans coins and a nazi insigne. At 17:20 this must be a part of stuff very ancient cause of the circles... In France we get some artefacts like that from the Mérovingiens Dynastie that reigned from the V century to the VIII century.
Yea its really hard to say what that piece is, sadly it was broken off.. coins are epic i agree on that for sure.. All best to France and glad you like the video :-)
First off, amazing history from the Roman times all the way to WWII. Doesn't get much better than that. I wanted to ask, some countries like the U.K make you turn in your finds, just wondering if you have that rule where you are? Here in the U.S we rarely find anything worthy of turning over to the Authorities. Also, on the German badge, there are collectors who pay decent prices for WWII German items.
Thank You very much for kind comment.. well yes, in Croatia as well, all finds that are consider a part of cultural goods are property of the state, so You are not allowed to keep it for yourself, one could argue that some stuff could be an exception (like coins) but I have found many great relics, few thousand years old, wich gave my local museum really big insight of new locations and cultures living in my area, wich is I belive more important then to keep these items in some type of privat collection..
You got some nice finds again! i wonder how much time u spend on detecting these fields to make a 20min video like this?when u will upload another video let us know your "detecting time" . Greetings from Hungary
this particular video was a 2 day session for about 3-4 hours, there was a lot of trash and lead on the field.. basically I detect on my free time from work, no specific time, any time I detect if i find something interesting i record the video.. Greetings to Hungary and I'm happy you like the video!
