I've been trying to find how can I lighten darker colors but keep the lighter colors the same and all I get is "turn the brightness up" which doesn't help because when it's a game you recorded, and a lot of it is dark but there's also bright things on the screen, you don't exactly want to make the bright things even brighter. What you showed in this video solved what I wanted to do after a few months of randomly trying to find something. So thank you!

how do I change from grey to black?

Well I was trying to turn a pure black rectangle into a red rectangle :
Change To Color kinda worked but there were visible artefacts here and there
Lumetri HSL Secondary didn't do anything at all...
Hey i was wondering if you could change to color to white? i've been looking around but i dont really know if that is possible...
The same concept applies with using the two tools just make them white, but you are limited by the dynamic range of your camera and colour depth

tbh such an obvious feature to have in 2024. but they even remove their primitive tool. thanx for the tutorial but tbh the result does not look professional.
