Hate the negative feedback thing. Years ago I had a buyer on eBay who thought I had stated something incorrect in a listing, but really she just didn't bother to read it, and left me a negative feedback when I hadn't reposponded to her message about it within a few hours. Agree with you 100% - honest, solid customer service is better than being out a small amount of $ here and there.

Very helpful advice! I keep considering bricklink, but I also build town Mocs and have a few sites that I sell on already. Then again what am I gunna use action figure general grievous’ shin for 😂

The return/refund conversation is important, I think, people don’t realize how easy good customer service is. I sent the wrong Harry Potter figure once, low value, the person messaged me and I sent out the right one the next day and told him to keep the other one, on me. Easy. I’ve dealt with partial refunds for items cracked or damaged in transit with an apology and a hope that they’ll give me another chance.
And then on the flip side, maybe you remember my experience with the “big on TikTok” seller who missed a figure in my order and proceeded to accuse me of trying to scam him, and was an overall jackass.
I don’t care if you mess up. I do care if you’re unable to own it, make it right and move on.
