Thanks Lau, will try this in my next mm game. Hopefully the guy hitting the bong, the dude yelling in Russian, the dude who doesn't have a mic, and the dude with the static mic will listen to me
Yes Launders, this is content gold. You could do a series where you talk through general IGL tips and then demonstrate default CT + T set ups on each map. I know this was more fluid and off the cuff as you did it on stream, but if you wanted a more formal video series I think that these are topics where you could add a lot of value.
I honestly had never thought about the most of this stuff. The points about explaining map philosophy to your team about why they are taking a certain position, and also, that device banana example, were super import to realise. Keep up the great work! Honestly, I'm a big fan of your work.
Launders, you are simply a treasure to the CSGO and TH-cam community. As a long time fan I can't wait to see you grow into the most successful CSGO youtuber
I think you explained this alot better then most people its about purpose on the map and having a game plan to cause the CTs or Ts to play into your game by abusing openings and roatations and common setups alot of new IGLs think its tactics there always needs to be purpose in what you are doing and why you are doing it rather the just strats and finding opening like train its common 1b so this is something you can abuse
I am IGLing in my friend group but mostly that's due to me being a huge csgo nerd and them being... kinda normal grinding players. I wish I could have regularly playing teammates that take it kinda seriously or are as much of a nerd as me.
I'd really like you to look more at learning the maps philosophy. It is something I've realized is required for higher level team play, even though I only am DMG. However very few people teach the philosophy of the maps I can't find any videos on them.
You can just watch high elo pug or pro demos and just try to understand what areas of the map are important to control as t and ct. Just look for common themes that happen in the rounds and you'll start to get an intuition for what to be doing and when
This was a very good video. Enjoyed the theoretical concepts. A lot of players just think cs is a flash this point peek this point game with no map control awareness or objective.
What IGL needs to do 1. Tell the team to rush B 2. If the team failed to rush B... Blame teammates 3. Tell them they're noobs 4. If they kicked you... tell them they will lose without you 5. Once you're kicked, you realized you got deranked and recieved 24 hour cooldown from matchmaking 6. Exit CSGO 7. Go to library 8. Right click CSGO 9. Click Delete 10. Don't be an IGL :)
Nice, I will now tell everybody in mm to listen to me because I watched the Launders video. And because I watched the launders video. I’m an infinitely better player then them because of it
This is wrong, all you need to do is
1. Join new team as star player
2. Kick IGL and become IGL
3. Repeat on all teams you go to
Hey NiKo it's your cousin
Don't forget to say that bad results aren't your fault because you don't want to be igl

Great points regarding the IGL role, valuable to anyone who's looking to transition from simply calling tactics to actually leading a team!

As an awper, when I started peaking people on T side everything changed
“If you have a goal, then all of the shit stuff in the middle, you can get over it”
That’s facts!! And applies well to life generally! Good stuff Lau
Soon 100K, well deserved, hope you'll keep creating this kind of content, explained in a way that it doesn't get boring and toooooooo technical :D

What you're doing is great for the scene man, and the way you handle questions/topics is very wise.

Short and to the point. One of your best videos my man!.
