Thanks for having me on. Hope you guys learned a bit, I learned a lot myself just by talking about meta with someone like launders. A lot of things that are now obvious to me were not obvious before this stream.
styko's transformation after mouz is great. love seeing how pros think and play different spots. keep this series up, and maybe bring on other pros if theyre available.
Styko such a legend. I really respect him since he is one of the few pros who would share his knowledge to other players and do this type of content where he analyzes a lot of interesting things and teaches the players how CS actually works.
There's always a Key for Ts to any map, and what's strong against that key for CTs is what in the end defines the meta. Banana control on inferno is a good example: if CTs left banana open without info every round, they would get faked to hell and back. So their job is to either have incredibly solid defense setups deep in the sites, or fight for banana control. These two options and how the Ts try to break them are a deciding factor to the meta on inferno. For ancient, it might end up being the mid control past donut that ends up being the meta decider.
Styko went from underrated player to a star player, now he's an underrated member of the CSGO community -- I hope we see more content from him, he's such a smart player
There is no way Styko won’t become analyst once he retires. This guy is a gem, an upgrade to Pimp or Maniac, despite their, arguably, lovable characters.
How would a connection from the cubby in mid into connector ( map at 30:00) either directly left or straight and up into lower connector work? It feels it would connect the map better and allow better rotates for T and CT? It could be made to not have lots of cubbies to be less annoying
Have you tried reaching out to pros or did Styko initially reach out to you? I could imagine that some combinations of players and maps could be very interesting, especially with repeats we could see how different players see the same maps. Imagine getting simple on and seeing how his mind works with his CT Nuke rotates. I think this is great and has a lot of potential.
I feel like meta for ct's after donut is smoked off and mid is taken is to leave 1 A with util, take mid control back with counterflashes from CT mid and through the donut smoke on timing and pinser the mid take forcing the t's to take B with less players or to work defaults which in turn favour the ct side due to lack of map control early round. Pushing through the donut smoke is risky, but I don't think teams will expect this play, at least not now when the map is fairly new still. Obviously if the CTs mid retake fails, the round is pretty much over, but giving the T's mid for "free" is also a bad position so why not try and fight for it, at least some rounds this could be effective
Will there be a new analysis of Nip/Rez or if device switches his playstyle in NiP? Or how hampus play his special lurk (especially on short a, dust 2). I'm just very interested in your opinion.
This options in demos are not normal right? I believe in a video a couple months ago you mentioned that you will do an explaination video how to convert (at least GOTV) demos so you can watch them with only team radar etc. so you can actually see what info was available and which wasnt. I believe this is somehow possible. Or am i mistaken here? If i got it right, i would love that.
hey launders, can you try analyzing EG's state right now? because i am really wondering why they can't put a real progress in the cs scene right now, because just looking by at their roster, it is packed with talent and young guns, do they need new IGL? Awper? I am just really confused with EG lmao nice video btwwww keep 'em up!
Hobbit clearly aimlocks the guy behind the smoke after the smoke blommed and there was no info put the slowest vidéo setting and check from 15:50 and see how after the flash and the smoke pop he locks to the player behind moving to the left.
Thanks for having me on. Hope you guys learned a bit, I learned a lot myself just by talking about meta with someone like launders. A lot of things that are now obvious to me were not obvious before this stream.

most interesting convo at 27:37 when Styko broke down some of the advantages of T-side mid control and how it breaks CT setups

Styko is so unbelievably well spoken. It’s shockingly so rare that a pro can explain theory so clearly. Thank you launders & styko. 🙌🏼

Wouldn't it be great if Styko came dressed like that for his first match back on LAN?
Those videos with STYKO are so great... Thanks!

“Launders learns” is a great series title. Rolls a bit better than the title you have in the intro :).

😡😡😡😡😠😠😠😠
I disagree, I feel like a lot of the fights are annoying or at least angles are bad because of the geometry of the map mostly.
This Styko guy, being and late shit. He'll never a professional player with that time management smh
