I found sewer Speedway to be one of the easiest tbh. Ngin labs is absolutely fucking me sideways though.

i love the difficulty of getting all the platinum relics, but i really don't like how on some of the maps, it becomes more about grabbing boxes than it is about just going as fast as possible. In mystery caves, theres even some boxes that you'll completely jump over if you're going TOO fast, making you intentionally slow down to get them :P
thats sort of the whole point of relic races tho. If you want time trials then go do that and race the N. Tropy and Oxide ghosts.
Ugh, Sewer Speedway was a nightmare. Crazy how what's likely the hardest track in the game to get platinum on is in the first area in the game. When I was a kid, that was what deterred me from 100%ing the original CTR all those years ago since I assumed it would only get more and more difficult from there. Now, in 2019, I've finally got all of the Platinum Relics for the first time ever and Sewer Speedway was undoubtedly the biggest trial of them all, at least in my opinion.
I feel you man it took me like 3 hours but I eventually got it with all the boxes. But you can see it's possible without all boxes anyway

Honestly sewer speedway isn’t too bad imo. N gin labs, papus pyramid, and dragon mines were the only ones I actually had to get all the boxes to beat

I remember that Sewer Speedway was the hardest track to get the platinum relic in the PS1 game.

Finally got all the Platinum Relics on medium difficulty. N. Gin Labs and Sewer Speedway took me some time the rest wasn't "so" hard. You can do exactly the same.

I was lucky to get a Platinum in Slide Colosseum and I didn't get all the time boxes for that one. It will be difficult to get the other Platinum Relics in other tracks.

Those three box set up jumps piss me off so much.
I....HAVE SO MUCH FACCING TROUBLE WITH THE BOXES ON MANY STAGES, I mostly hate the blizzard stage post ramp boxes, the ones on the shortcut besides the open wood cabin too
After so many attemps in that track and get platinum, I can say.. FUCK BLIZZARD BLUFF
Sewer Speedway was the worst. Took me maybe 3 hours to get platinum (Mainly 'cause I thought it was impossible to beat without all boxes)
Then on the other hand I beat Tiny Arena with only 42/60 Boxes or w e the max amount was
Papu’s Pyramid is the one that’s taking me so long. That track is so technical when it comes to those time crates

When you get all non-platinum relics in adventure mode, do you have to beat nitrous oxide once more? There was a cut scene when I collected all the relics and now I don't know should I even try to beat him again...

I'm am quite surprised ProsafiaGaming, I'm sorry to say, but even I don't think I could do that, this was the main reason I didn't bother to fully 100% the Crash N. San Trilogy, because of those freaken Relics, I may be able to get all Platinum in Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby: Planetet Robobot, but this.....this is something that I CAN NOT DO!
So sence the remake of Crash Team Cart Racing is here, I wonder what kind of remake Spyro will get here soon.

don't worry, the gold relics are enough for 101%, thus unlocking Hot Rod Oxide.

I couldn’t get all platinum relics but I got 14 gold relics and 4 platinum and still managed to get 101%
when I played the original version I got all 18 platinums

Get all the time crates equals 10 seconds taken off of your final time.

I finally beat all of these apart from turbo track (which I can actually beat) on hard mode adventure.
Now I can't beat the CTR challenges because of the ridiculous AI. This means I can't unlock turbo track on that save file. Does that mean I have no way of getting the platinum paint apart from beating every platinum relic again on an easier save file? -_-
The fact you can't do a turbo might be your controller idk, it's weird tho, did you try again?
So serious question. I got 100% completion on the story mode, and got the hovercraft. I want to unlock the Hot Rod Oxide costume so I started working towards getting the Gold Relics.
So my question is: Do I need to get all the Gold Relics before racing Oxide the second time, or can I still get the skin even though I already 100% completed the Adventure mode?
You don't have to get all of the gold relics I think you have to 101% the adventure mode to unlock the hot rod oxide skin
you can beat oxide a second time and then work your way through the gold relic times. It'll still unlock Hot Rod Oxide, regardless of when you do it.
@@SamuelJohnsonYT Uhh.. Actually you have to get all relics upgraded to gold or platinum in order to get 101%
100% is achieved by defeating oxide for the second time, which means you need to grab all relics, which means you are forced to play the gem cups to unlock one track for a relic race, and to unlock the gem cups you have to get all CTR Tokens.
The 1% left is by upgrading your relics from Sapphire to Gold or Platinum.

Question: if you obtain all relics, you get the Platinum paint job - that's clear. BUT getting all platinum gives you ONLY the Platinum paint job - ignoring both Sapphire and Gold colors?

@@hugje476 choosing wouldn't make much sense some point. Maybe adds all of them, as you clear platinum, then might there's no reason to run less good, because to obtain the "worse" paint jobs

I finished and was like where is my oxide skin since I finished only 50% of the maps with platinum
Sorry for the late response, (you've probably figured it out by now) but if not: 101% is awarded if you have 100% completion + All gold relics. Platinum is not required for 101%, and you will not have to redo everything. Just improve your sapphires to gold.

Are you cheating on this, cause I followed the pattern for sewer speedway, and I end up with a freaking gold and no platinum, it's keeps cracking my head in a painful headache, gah! (Takes a deep breath) sorry if I sounded rude to you, its this darn track I can't win on, not to mention I can't even use cheats to even help me out which also ticks me off.
