There is a big shortcut on 'hot air skyway'. After the first jump where the 2 roads aline. At the end turn, and use the slope to jump over the fence to get on the other line. Skips like 15 secs. Used it back in the days with the original CTR. Keep it a secret. Your welcome

There's 1 more in polar pass the little floating ice blocks with boost pads you can jump.right from 1 of them skipping 1 or 2 of them and a corner and 1 more in out of time after you go in the click when you are coming out the 2nd jump you can jump left over another fence skipping about 5-10second by cutting a decent sized corner out
Oh boy, a lot of these are crazy timesavers and will probably become mandatory for online. :/ I wish they removed stuff like the PapuPyramid corner jump from online. Too good not to use and make them basically become the new route everyone will have to take if they want a chance to win. I dont mind shortcuts generally but these have too much impact.
The papu corner shortcut is not difficult to learn and most of these shortcuts can be nailed with practice. If anything they’ve made it easier to access these shortcuts vs the original
Don't take the last polar pass shortcut. Short maybe, effective?? No. That track has a Super Turbo Pad that makes you N. Sanely faster. If you have enough turbo boost reserves you can keep it far into the tracks if not the whole track.
wellll you missed 2 short cuts, theres a coral area in Deep Sea Driving that you can blast across, In assemnly lane there is a convayor belt you can drive straight across there's also a corner you can skip in electron avenue aswell as polar pass

sewer speedway shortcut is so broken. if u jump too early u crash into the wall. if u jump at the peak u all most make it. if u jump too late u make it. spent an hour trying to get the relic for this one, tropy ghost was a lot easier since u could just speed trough the levels with n.gin
You really shouldn't say all, there's always gonna be shortcuts people haven't discovered. There's a few missing from this and I've only played for a few days.
Missed a couple, there is one at the start of meter gorge (falow the gost in time trile) and one in electric Avenue but thats the only ones i can think of right now
6:20 I remember in the original you can jump over that wall by turning back from further down the slope (having the wall at your left). That's a huge shortcut. Is that still doable?
If you’re talking about jumping over the divider that splits the track, tough luck. They raised the barrier much higher than before to discourage people from doing that. It was never intended as a shortcut, as it cuts out WAY too much of the track.
@@BravestWarriorSubs I'll believe it when someone actually posts a video of them jumping over the divider. To which Beenox will catch wind and patch it out because, again, it is not an intended shortcut. The divider was made twice as high and solid for a reason.
Some of those requires crazy luck in order to have the specific power up to succeed or right drift,at least can someone tell me if i can play those to take the trophy on time attack as well?

Nitro fueled drift meter is easier to use for timing your mini turbos as each line the bar passes makes your boost last longer. I use speedometer and just look at my wheels.

Mitchel Graauw you can do that anymore there's a wall that stops you from. Cutting the jump like you was able to in CNK days

Some are actual short-cuts while others are just cutting corners by driving through grass etc

they have been modified, in the Original Games these were some pretty hard short cuts

I feel like some of these were exploits (rather than intentional shortcuts) on the original game and they decided to keep them.

In clock work wumpa there was two short cut
You can jump both rails in Blizzard Bluff which is also required for the trophy
i only used one for the trophy....

Sewer Speedway shortcut is full of lies! This is coming from a veteran, It does not work like it should. The height the hops give you is inconsistent.

Just a case of do them if you have the powerup then and avoid them if you don't just notice to remember if you get the powerup
