I use all original music in the intros and outros. It's me basically making demos down thru the years of tunes I wrote or ideas that were floating around upstairs. Thx for the comment....
Another excellent post Wayne. Thank you! If I may ask what makes and models of mandos do you currently have in your arsenal and any ensemble playing vids in the works? Peace.
Thx for the comment Brad! I intend to make a video that features the different mandolins I own but just haven't had time to get around to it. The F5 I play in almost all of these videos is a McClanahan named Big Jon. I gave it the name in honor of Jonathan McClanahan who builds some world class intruments. I have an "unboxing" video the features another of his builds uploaded already......
@@waynesworldofmandolin3616...thanks for the reply! Yes I saw the unboxing vid. Beautiful instrument! As is yours. I have been playing for 4 yrs now and looking to upgrade my Eastman. There is a McClanahan 2007 Trinity F5 on Reverb right now for 9k but I can't seem to justifying bidding on it. I have never bought an instrument on line before and I think it might be out of my league right now for my level. Any thoughts on buying "too much mando?"
That's a tough question Brad. Great instruments inspire us to play more and we could never buy "to much" of that. Great instruments are also great investments.....
Such a valuable lesson . I'm off to play around with it . Thanks Wayne !
Wayne, you are really great at unlocking the portals of improv leading from one chord to another. Lot of “ah hah!” moments in your videos!
Thx Rutland! I'm glad to know the content is a help. That's the goal....
Must have missed this one. Super!
Fantastic instruction
Thx Mikey! I love doing these roadmap sessions. More coming soon.....
Wayne, what is the tune in the intro? Where can I hear the whole thing?
Enjoying your channel very much! Thanks!
