    That trench collapse could have ended up being a whole lot worse than it was. Glad it wasn't too difficult to rescue the 160 and no one got hurt.

    Good heavens my OCD has kicked in every time you drive pass the pond and I see all the branches and trees sticking out of the mud. I heard you say dredging the pond was not in there budget but that would drive me crazy. Love this channel!!

    Nothing says fun like tipping your already sold digger on its last day. It’s really interesting to see the changes in this project. I remember watching your walk through on the first day. You’d never know it was the same place now though. On a personal note, my cat sits and watches your videos with me and gets really excited when Winston or the cattle make an appearance.

    I always imaging what it took to make ponds with horses and scoops. The weeks of labour to acheive what you now do in days. Earthmoving machines are engineering superheroes.

    from my permaculture studies that was an excellent view of building a KEYWAY. Unfortunately I never heard any audio describing what was SO necessary in building the dam wall. I just love your videos,. .....

    I’ll tell you the truth Chris I had completely forgot about that pond it took me a while to remember what Pond you was on. Then when you went across it with the dozer then I remembered oh yeah this is the pond where they had all the big trees on the side of the dam and it was leaking through the damn but anyway brother you and John and yawls family stay safe and keep the videos coming and I can’t wait to see the finished product of this one

    Had a trench collapse once in Nelsonville ,Ohio on a deep sewer project. We had been blasting to get through a cap of rock had moved back forward to drag the trench box forward when it all gave way. About upset the machine and almost stained
    Some underwear lol. Life’s adventures are what keeps it interesting providing no harm comes from it. Enjoy your content 👍👍

    Hahaha!! I was thinking about you blowing the horn when the dump was loaded.. and you mentioned it a few seconds later..
    Now just need the drone-like controls to send that truck off to dump the load..
    Clever way to trench that dam, and fill it back in with the clay.. should work good for plugging the leak.

      I was watching them on one of the live cams build the walls and thought they could uses Chris's help, lol. They need more machines there building it if they want to contain the lava. The volcano is pumping it out faster than they can keep up with just one dozer and one excavator. That said, seen some close up videos of the work already done and it's quite impressive how much dirt they already moved.
