Here’s any easy-ish burnt zombie makeup tutorial for you! Totally inspired by the crispy zombies in The Walking Dead: s-media-cache-.... I really wanted to use the prosthetics I tried to make a couple of months ago but we all know how my moulds turned out lol, so maybe next time! This time I decided to take an easier approach and use materials that most of you will already have or will easily be able to get your hands on. :)

If I was doing a more in depth look of this I would add browns, and yellowish tones to the face just to add more dimension. But this is a great easy tutorial to do! I always love your looks!!!

Since it's mostly just latex I just peeled it off! It's very satisfying. :P Oh! Actually... You can kind of see the peeled off flesh in the background of my last video haha!

I tried liquid latex yesterday and omg.. That thing stinks sooo much haha!!! But anyway, I think I would get over it and try this zombie look. I love your creation 😁💜

Late to the party here, but you may want to use a barrier cream instead of vaseline if you are wearing it for longevity. I believe Ben Nye sells one, or you could use baby barrier cream (for baby butts) or a non-petroleum jelly (also in the baby section). Vaseline actually breaks down latex and can encourage it peeling up and cracking throughout the day. It really only matters if you're planning on wearing it for a while, though!

Yeah, they're photoshopped - I didn't have any that would work for the look but there are totally some sclera lenses with this kind of effect out there. :) Thanks so much!!

Ahh thanks so much! I'm glad you liked it. ^_^ The eyes are just photshopped because I didn't have any lenses that would work with the look. There are definitely some sclera lenses with this kind of effect out there though! Or a red overlay on the eyes will do the trick in photos! :P
By the end of the video I was waiting for how you did your eyes. Are those edited or did you wear special contacts?

Awesome! How long did the tissue and latex process take for this look? I tried the method once (my zombie was fresher, less crispy, lol) but it drove me bonkers waiting for the dry time. I'm not sure if it was the cheap latex I used, if it was maybe humid, or if I just had no patience hanging out in my bathroom in the wee hours and trying to keep quiet to not wake up the house. I used toilet paper, and our recently-adopted cat came in to watch me... that was the first time he shredded a roll out of many now, and I think I taught him! XD
Ahhh I have no idea. I watch TV while I'm filming so I never really notice how time flies. :') I do feel like you're right though. It probably takes a while. Gotta keep a hairdryer handy to heat blast your face every now and then. :') Thanks for watching as always lovely one! :D

It is! It took many hours of struggling in photoshop because I'm clueless with actual editing lol. I ended up doing a red overlay with low opacity and punching the reds up. Same with the yellow. Then white over the iris to make it look cloudy. It's not too difficult now I think back but it took so long to work out how/what to do. :') Thanks so much!

So, this isn't hugely related, but your nails are gorgeous and I know you mentioned that you have nail extentions.. I've been growing mine out but they break very easily, so what extentions do you use?

I do indeedy have a video! Although, because I'm not a pro, there were some mistakes and I used a wrong product so I unlisted it so I wasn't spreading any misinformation. The video is hidden from my channel but it's on this post still: www.emmapickles.uk/blog/2016/10/5/how-i-do-gel-nail-tip-extensions-at-home Just make sure you read what to do differently if you do try! ^_^ If you have a problem with them snapping, you could just try wearing a gel polish! I have the same issue with my nails but they grow really long when I wear gel over them because they just can't snap. :)

I've been wanting to try gel polish but I need to psych myself up enough to put the money down on it 😂 Because I work in a bakery, I spend all day pulling cookies off metal trays, so I never have clean polish for longer than a day. Does your offer code still work on that website? Madam Glam?

Lol nope, but I do hear American/Americanised accents way more than I hear British accents nowadays. I haven't lived in the north for almost four years and most of my friends are either American or from across Europe and have learnt American English. I personally don't hear it myself. I think it's more that my Yorkshire accent has softened but I still have short 'A's' in my pronunciation from my Yorkshire accent (like bath vs baaaaath, lol), but so do a lot of American accents too. So I think that's where the connect is for people who hear it. :)
