- If you're a foodie, then you don't want to miss this video where we try Indian food for the first time! In this video we visit Masala cuisine in Jacksonville, Florida. This restaurant is said to have some the best authentic Indian food in all of North Florida. Join us on this culinary adventure as we explore the vibrant and mouthwatering dishes of Indian cuisine.
We tried a variety of foods including vegetable samosa which are these crispy and golden fried pastries that are filled with a savory mixture of potatoes, peas, and spices. They were served with tamarind chutney and mint chutney. We also had halal lamb chops, naan, chicken, chicken biryani, Bhendi Dopiaia, Saag Aloo, chicken tikka masala, chicken curry, gulab jamun, gajar halwa, mango mousse, gobi Manchurian, mango lassi, and much more. This was an unforgettable experience, we enjoyed the vibrant flavors.

Use raw papaya pulp while marinating your lambchops and let them aside atleast an hour.. this tenderises the lamb meat
Wow, we’ve never heard of that technique before. We actually bought some lamb and papaya at the grocery story yesterday! Definitely will give that a try, thanks!

add raw papaya paste (pureed with skin) to you lamb/mutton and marinate for a few hours before cooking. it acts as a tenderizer for meat

For the main meal we usually start with the warm breads & the entres (curries with meat) & when the breads are over we pour the remaining curry on the rice & clean it all up. We never eat the bread & rice together at the same time

Honestly its the tandoor they use to cook it in, its like a convention oven and bbq all in one, so u get char with a soft and tender center.
