  • The 2021 Yamaha YZ450F is one of our favorite all-around bikes thanks to its monster powerband and amazing suspension package. Our pro tester Pat Foster loves the bike so much, that he's raced one for the past few seasons in bone-stock condition! This year, we finally talked him into seeing what extra performance could be coaxed out of the blue bike, so we sent the fork and shock to enzo racing for a full makeover. enzo racing revalved both ends, added a Technica Lower-Capacity Shock Bladder Cap and Technica Compression Adjuster, firmer fork springs and a set of Technica Spring Tubes.     Don’t need to remove sub frame when changing shock. Pull seat and tank but leave fuel connected and turn tank 180. Save yourself the head ache! Thanks for the video

    My career ended in the early 90s when my motor bike got stolen at the time it was a brand new 1991 CR 125. One of the first ones out there on the track at the time. No I just wish I had anything at all to ride so I can feel alive once more.

    I've always loved Yamahas, and I can't wait to see what lies in store for the future platforms! These bikes rock, and they try their best to have a solid price point! The FX I had will always have a piece of my heart! 💪 ❤

    I agree, he got into the tech meat and bones of how the changes translate to handling improvements.
    We all want plush but firm...right!

    Pat u killed it again great test, but I think you need a taller seat. Looking at your riding stance into braking bumps.

    Love Yamahas and Kawis. Had both still always on the fence about what bike I would get

      If you like power the Yamaha. My 16 still has more power than my friends 19 Kawasaki after he did cams and high compression piston. I’ve rode both and he couldn’t believe how good my bike pulled being stock. I tuned it a little with the mapping and that’s it. Suspension is amazing and the bike turns well and does everything really well.

    Is it possible for 47-year-old man that looks like a younger man on a bike to become a test rider ? I live in South Florida, Lee County. If there’s any possible way or openings for someone who really wants to take his job 100% serious and learn how to be the best test rider I could be.

    It's odd because the intro of the ride videos. I'll wait to see how ya adjust. It's clear your bike is bouncing back and forth instead of up and down. Guys get caught up paying for new springs and such. I did. Ruined the flow. Good riding though!

      The new Honda’s have nothing but problems. Darting, ecu problems even after having it reprogrammed!! Runs like crap my friends hate theirs..
