Albert Fish is the worst serial killer to have tattooed on you too. He killed and ate a 12 year old girl and sent a letter to her parents describing it and how she tasted. The letter is the cruelest thing you can do to a parent. I find serial killers interesting from a psychology standpoint but I automatically see a red flag any time someone mentions Fish even remotely positively.
There are a few serial killers that I avoid podcasts or videos about. Albert Fish is one of those. I've heard the account a couple of times, and I hate it.
Yes I agree with this. But any serial killer is bad and it is an insult to the victims’ families.
I will definitely agree with you on this. I found out about Albert Fish through a song called Wysteria or something like that on TH-cam. There’s a forward version of it and a backwards version - The backwards version reads the letter & the letter is also easy to find online unfortunately. 😅 Such an insanely messed up and twisted story. Can’t begin to imagine what those parents felt
I was just about to comment this. There's a weird standard when it comes to criminals and serial killers, like child victims just make the thing so much worse. Serial killer tattoos should be on the same level as racist tattoos in my opinion. Evil in human skin is interesting to learn about but should never be praised to the point they become a tattoo
Imagine losing someone you love to a deranged loser who killed them for fun and then you walk past someone with the killer’s face tattooed on them. I might have to pull a cheese grater on them ngl.
1:07 I'm assuming the person who got that tattoo is German because "Italien" is German for Italy and "Genitalien" is German for genitals, so yeah the 'joke' behind the tattoo works best in German LOL
Weirdly in Spanish, the name for Germany is "Alemania?"

Years ago I met a very young woman - maybe 18 - who had a tattoo of a zipper from her hairline to under chin, straight down her face. I’ve mentioned it to a few tattoo artists over the years and they were all appalled that someone would agree to do that on the face of someone so young.
Was she like, mentally ill? I’m so sorry if that sounds really mean. Im genuinely asking! I’m also mentally ill if that helps hah

As a huge Repo fan, I say 'join us!' Anthony Stewart Head's singing is second to none in it.

@@jinxedfoxy13_Heatheronly in the basic premise, of organ repossession. Repo! Is a full blown musical, set in a steampunk sort of future, and absolutely has its own dark vibe. It's also over the top with gore, and has some incredibly crude lines that would send you cringing, if you were watching it with your parents. 😂
Repo Man: The Gentic Opera. Is so bad it’s amazingly good. Plus it has Sarah Brightman in it
I rewatched this movie just a few days ago. And it's such a great cult classic. Also love The Devil's Carnival, another great collab between Darren Lynn Bousman and Terrance Zdunich
And if you’re like me you will fall for the Grave Robber and his voice too. Can’t get his songs out of my head. Too I find Repo better than Devil’s Carnival even though I love them both.
Repo the Genetic Opera is absolutely one of those “it’s so bad it’s good” movies and I do not care!! It is seriously one of my favorite movies and I highly recommend. It’s so good.

Repo is such a good movie!!! Also the story of how it was made is super cool they practically ran out of funding towards the end of the movie so a lot of the editing was done for free as well as the costumes!! Very cool it turned out so well for how much they struggled during making it
I haven’t watched it in awhile but I was obsessed with Repo! The Genetic Opera when it came out. Now I want to watch it again. It’s got a distinct look and I love almost all of the songs in it.

I'm 100 percent certain the lamppost finger tattoo was a bad attempt at a cover up. Prime example on how people take on things they can't truly accomplish. Thanks again for another good one!

I have a wedding tat in the same place and we couldn't agree on it until we both had a respective coverup in mind if we ever needed that. Like, I don't want to plan for divorce ever and I don't intend to ever need it, but you gotta have it planned out anyway.

The "How do you feel as a tattoo?" is from a polish artist Lipne Tattoo! The character is named George and he does tons of tattoos with him!

Omg, you haven't seen Repo the Genetic Opera?? Man, with your vibes I had thought you had seen it in your late teens-early 20s like I did! It's a fun movie. The concept is interesting and the music is going to get stuck in your head. While it's probably dated now, it's still a fun watch.
Repo is really good! The songs are super super catchy! And there’s something about Paris Hilton playing a fictional version of herself that just hits lmao
Tattoo at 2:46 is a Nine Inch Nails reference! Specifically, it's from a couple songs from their album called Broken. It's one of the more intense works in their discography, as I'm sure you can probably gather.
Even the mouth hooked to the urinal is a reference to the video for the song "Pinion", where someone is hooked to a toilet in that sort of BDSM-esque way. The music videos from that album are totally off the wall. If you're sensitive to that sort of stuff, don't go looking! But the music from it is great if you like industrial, so it is worth a listen.
So, even though it's a really vulgar tattoo even I wouldn't get as a fellow NIN fan, it's a pretty cool reference!

Repo the Genetic Opera is absolutely wild! The creator is kinda shady but “Infected” and “Let the Monster Rise” are great songs. You should probably get some Zytrate before your next palm tattoo

At 12:50 that's a meme, its called "Gandalf with the big naturals" I believe it was made original on Twitter (X) and moved over to Tumblr, the person who made it was under anesthesia and had a vision with Gandalf having big breast and photoshopped it to be real lol, it's still a fun meme on Tumblr

When I was in Montreal, I saw an older man with his hair tattooed on. Although the ink had turned into the blue colour that old tattoos get. It was awful, but he lives in my head rent-free.

13:45 that Army Wife tattoo is either to constantly remind her husband he doesn’t appreciate her because I’m guessing he spends a lot of time back there…and it is a double reminder to appreciate her. 1.) It literally states it in text that he has to read. 2.) It could make him think of the other people who will be reading that tattoo up close and personal if he continues to “not appreciate her”.
As someone who is currently collecting amateur-getting-used-to-real-skin tattoos these REALLY make my friends and artists I go to seem like veterans 😂😂 also that SUCKA FREE had me howling, it's probably internalized racism but hood tattoos like that are just so comically hard that they feel like a parody.
I’m glad the type of people to get serial killer tattoos get them in visible places because people know that they need to get as far away from this person as soon as possible when they see it
Why? I'm a HUGE horror fan and in horror films, unfortunately, there are some based vaguely on real life. Lauren has one. Scream was based on and actually encouraged/was the inspiration for a murder(s) and the ring was also based on a very old irl murder and again, inspired a murder. We cant avoid life and it's not glorifying them. If I took your advice I would be a shitty person for liking Texas chainsaw massacre, wrong turn, the hills have eyes and more. Its about my love of horror movies, it has nothing to do with the crime. Maybe, just maybe, you should idk, not judge people?

You don't see how a movie being inspired by real events is different than getting the actual murderer tattooed on you?
Those are fictional killers. Getting a real murderer on you is disrespectful to the victims and their surviving families.

Yes a lot of movies and shows are BASED on real life because we all have the shared experience of being human. Imagine walking past this person and seeing the face of a man who ruined your whole life by taking someone you loved from you in a horrible and pointless way. Imagine people celebrating your loss in that way. Are you cool with getting terrorists tattooed to you? Mass shooters? Then why is it cool to have a dude who killed and ate a young girl and then taunted her parents afterward? (Fish, the guy on top).

If ur a fan of a real murderer to the point where you always to idolize that person forever with a tattoo, there is something deeply wrong with that. It’s disrespectful to the victims and comes off as one of those people who are sexually attracted to real murderers which I find morally unacceptable. If you have lust for someone solely based of the fact that they took innocent lives, you have to reflect on why your so messed up that you think that’s okay.

I love scrape tattoos! They're one of my favorite pieces to see someone get because of how rough they look. The aesthetically pleasing organized ines also look good but there is something about the ones that look a little scribbly that I love. I want to get some later to represent my chronic pain
You definitely need to give 'Repo! The Genetic Opera' a watch. It's so bizarre but the soundtrack is a banger. It has a cult status akin to 'Rocky Horror'.
Repo the genetic opera is awesome. The acting itself it's not the best. But the movie it self is fantastic. And I love the songs!😊
2:46 that is definitely a nod to the Broken EP by Nine Inch Nails.
Back when it released in 1992 it had a fake snuff art movie (which became a cult classic) where several music videos for the EP got interrupted with scenes of someone being tortured in a basement.
The first music video of the movie is for the intro track "Pinion" in which a camera goes down into a toilet which is flushing some kind of dark liquid all the way down the pipes only to show that the pipes go right into the mouth of a tied up person in a latex gimp suit. You can find it here on youtube! :D
Repo! is genuinely my favorite movie of all time. I have a tattoo inspired by it too, but mine is nothing like the one in the picture 😂
Repo! Is pretty safely in the bad-good category. One of my favorites in college.
Repo the Genetic Opera is one of my all time favorite movies! A must see if you like grunge, goth, musicals and over all creepy vibes.
I ADORE Repo the genetic Opera, it is a musical though and is kinda a lot. Some of it is a lot more crude than I enjoy, but it's one of the first niche musicals I was introduced to by a bootleg on a friend's computer and it's pretty sentimental to me. There's some interesting video essays on the history of the movie.
The sad thing is the bald dude looks like he would be hot bald.
I really love the knee tattoos. I think it’s really unique and super well done, they really did look like a nasty injury and then you see the hearts and do a double take.

I don't know about the bruised knees tho... I do like the concept, I just think it would get tired pretty quickly and wouldn't age well at all

I think the tattoo in 2:53 has some lyrics from the Nine Inch Nails song "Gave Up", plus that song is from an album named "Broken" and a lot of the music videos from that era of NIN show similar imagery so it wouldn't surprise me if it's a reference to that!

Face on face tattoos freak me out because it's like you have a second head with all the bad points and none of the good ones. We have a whole saying about it because 2 heads is very shocking, but it's not even like a disability you can spread awareness about, it's just being stared at by 4 eyes all of the time and you can never look anywhere else. (That being said, I've thought about getting another set of eyes tattooed on me and I can just cover them with makeup, but I think it might be too annoying, so I might do piercings with little eye jewelry instead.)
I absolutely love Repo! The Genetic Opera. I even got my wife to see it. If you ever watched Buffy The Vampire Slayer tv show not the movie the Man who plays Giles is in this movie. Trust me its a great movie!!!

There is a subreddit (r/bald) that features men going "should I shave it?" and then men posting their shaved head. 100% of the time they look better once they embrace it. And sometimes the transformation from "don't make eye contact" to "he's cute!" is astonishing.

yeaaaah, bragging about tattooing a whole back piece in one session is really not the flex they seem to think it is. the half sleeve on my arm took two whole day sessions and it's amazing. quality work takes time

The face-on-a-face thing being extra weird makes perfect sense because humans have evolved to process the sight of faces in a very specific way. Familiarity with the human face is ingrained into our brains. To put another human face on a face means there is more information cluttering up the way we recognize and process faces I think. Probably makes the brain work extra hard, and it's uncomfortable.
This is all a guess btw, no clue if I'm right. Anyone who studies neurobiology: please corroborate or denounce my claims haha.

Repo! The Genetic Opera is so bad it's good. It's a very interesting concept and they have some rather famous people in the movie, but it feels cheaply made. It has a great soundtrack though.

The most surprising tattoo I’ve ever witnessed in person was a face on a face tattoo. This guy came into the store I was working at with his partner. I knew this was his partner because he had a tattoo of her face covering one whole side of his face! And it wasn’t like a beautiful portrait or anything like that, it was a selfie from above photo.
It wasn’t a bad looking tattoo, but that was a bold choice my dude.
