Well done. No one had ever been to Oxbridge from my school and I did not try but even so did well so those who don't get in don't be put off. Other good universities are great too. But do try - if you don't try you won't get in.

Even though my grandfather is the chairman in India's largest chemical manufacturing company and both my father and uncle went to oxford and the fact that I am an excellent student didn't give me any less stress while applying to oxford !
This just makes me so happy! Probably stressed with the new year, 'cause you literally had me in tears xD I hope to be able to apply for Oxford for a postgrad, buuut it'll be hard. And I'll depend on getting a scholarship xD

If you've applied through UCAS they should respond some time in November about interviews/admissions tests :)
