I too would like details on your build. What tail/seat did you use? Rear sets? Approximate power you've gained. How much does it weigh now? What did you do for that exhaust/ what exhaust did you buy, was it a full system including headers?
do you have any thing written down on how you did this.I have purchased a 98 VFR800 and I am looking to do exactly what you've done. well the track bike version at least. Any suggestions or links to how-to's?
Hello John! Thank you for your reaction! I have be looking for a koso clock but i realy like the big tacho dash with needle of the fireblade! I have bought the Blade clock 04/05 and it was not that expensive as the koso clocks! Everything is working, including the speed display, only the speed information is not correct, but i think i can help it with a speedohealer. I only have a problem with the trip meter, he doesn’t show anything. I can see on your video that your trip meter is working! Do you can give me some tips about it? Many thanks! Niels
Very nice looking bike! You have nice building skills! I'm also building a track VFR800 that even can be use on the road. I have a question about your cockpit. I can see that you have a dash that is from a Fireblade 2004/2005, is your speed meter working? Thank you, Regards from the Netherlands, Niels
Hey Niels. Many thanks for your comments. On this track bike, the speed function is not enabled. The fireblade speed sensor is a different type to the vfr one. On road bikes, I use other aftermarket clocks, like Koso or Translogic etc. Hope you have lots of fun with your build. John

@@nielshartog1341Hey niels, heb jij toevallig nog een schema'tje liggen van de bedrading? Ik ben nu terwijl ik dit type bezig met dezelfde cbr dash voor m'n vfr. Alleen ik kom er ff niet uit

How much power are you able to get out of the 800 motor?
Hey looking good..
Do you happen to have a diagram for the cbr dash? I'm trying to wire one up for my vfr as we speak but I need help
Wow. Just wow. That’s great!!!
Very nice looking and sounding bike. Where did you get your fairings from?

Nice Job! Looks Factory! Getting the OEM Seat Subframe off must have Dropped a Bunch of Weight! -Cheers👍🇦🇺🍻
Many thanks. I did my best to make it as close as possible to an engine with wheels, but it's a heavy old engine!!

Looks great! Twist that throttle and push that bike over in those turns! It'll track!

Website? Mod list?
Where did you get the race fairings? All the ones I’ve found have headlight holes 🙄
I just asked them to fill the holes in, for a nominal fee on top.
Hi John, nice bike. The holes are filled, but is this a fairing from a VFR 800? Or other bike?
Thx for posting
very very nice I love it.
Did you solved the cold start problem? I have the same problem
There isn't a cold start problem if you have the later throttle bodies with wax unit controlled starter valves.
@@VEE4MOTO I think that's just how the VFR warms up...
How much does it weigh now?
No idea, my kitchen scales aren't big enough!
@@VEE4MOTO Use 2 of them!
I think if you learned how to position your body for the turns you would be fasters and more confident.
