It takes a very special person to live their life doing what they enjoy. And then to make it even better he brings joy to those of us that wish we were doing the same thing.
Yes, but truthfully, they weren't displayed very nicely. Especially the vintage early 60s ones. Many of them were just put on a stand without even their shoes on. You're supposed to "hide" the stand to make them look like they are standing on their own.
I looked a little on-line, as I was remembering she was created to give little girls a 'girl' monster. Apparently when surveys of small children were done, the adults would be told all the monsters were boys. So new monster, new color choice and ribbons and we've got Zoe.
My dad sold them his whole adult life, first for a very small dealership my grandpa owned, and then after that closed, for a larger one that's still around today. I have a number of "green tractor' collectable toys myself.

Thanks for bringing back memories. I had forgotten all about my stuffed monkey holding the banana. He was so thread-bare by the time I let him go. One toy I had when I was five that I've always looked for and have never seen since, is a crank box, similar to a jack-in-the-box but it played a record inside of it and I can still remember the story it told..."Baby Sookie was a saggy baggy elephant, said the lions and the tigers too. Baby Sookie sat down and cried, then some giant elephants he spied. Baby Sookie dried his tears because they were sagging baggy too." My four uncles wore it out cranking it slow, then cranking it fast and laugh at the low and high voice. I miss that little voice box.

Jacob, another fantastic museum is Deer Park Auto and Wine Museum in Escondido, California! It has a amazing Classic Car Collection, and lots of Memorabilia from early Radios, Television’s, home appliances, toys, vintage bicycles, motorcycles, signs, even data entry machines (keypunch) which I used to work on! The setting is beautiful! Vintage gas station! 😃👏🏻
Very cool place. Lots of toys I had as a kid I didn't see there. I was surprised I did not see more Dale Evens ,Roy Rodgers stuff . They were so popular back when . Awesome tour . Really enjoyed it. Keep Safe ❤Keep Well ❤
Jacob, that green gargoyle looking thing was called the "great garkoo". I got one for Christmas when I was a kid. My father hid the wired remote, and pressed the button. It scared me and I turned it toward the wall when he asked what I was doing I answered; 'great garloo, he 'care me". I'm 62, and my family STILL rides my tul this very day
Jacob, those bartender toys were funny: they’d pour the drink from the shaker, and as they drank a red light inside made their faces red and a wire inside made smoke come out of their ears.
I absolutely LOVE your commentary! "That was the classic days of toys.... back when kids played with drunks." and "Back when kids could be trusted with just a big box full of dangerous chemicals." haha

So many memories. I had a metric boatload of those toys. Star Wars, the six million dollar man and big jim. Didn't see any GI Joe or Fisher Price stuff though. Had a ton of those too. And, of course, Legos. Superbly done my friend. Made me feel like a kid again. And is it just me, or did that Superman mannequin look like a reused John Wayne?
"Back in the classic days of toys when kids played with drunks!" 🤣 Nearly peed my pants laughing. It's so weirdly true. My great uncle had a large assortment of those animatronics drunks, lol. According to online sources, the $6 million man would be around $30 million today.
