Very good video! Not too much extra talking, just pure instruction. Background music is good and not intrusive. Thank you! Edit: I made this last night for my new car. I used tubing for the front, and I cut a strip out of a plastic water jug for the back, flat part of the top. It fits perfectly, and doesn't get in the way. Thanks again!
I love this! I'm a very beginner sewist, but with your pattern and this wonderful video, I finished this in less than two hours. I moved my straps out farther and put velcro on one side so I could hang it from the headrest. It turned out so cute. Thank you!
Thankyou Angela. I love all your videos and I make gifts for family and friends and they love them . I like the clear way you describe how to make. Easy to understand
I made one of these last night and love how it turned out. I didn't have any twill or ribbon for the strap, so I created one using an 18" by 2.25" strip of the outer fabric. Your video & instructions are perfect. Thank you, Angela.
nice bag, enforcing the top edge really makes it look great as well as hold it's shape. I'm thinking about making a larger bag exactly like this with a few pockets to use as a front seat organizer, with ties up to the head rest, so it won't fall over.
Thank you. I make the video tutorials as clear as possible to accompany the patterns. You can download the transcript of the tutorial on your desktop and also adjust to slower playback speed in your settings if necessary. Thanks for watching🤣🙏
Another great pattern with easy & precise instructions. I added 4 inches to the height so it's not a mini now but as messy as my family is they're perfect. One in the front, one in the back of the car. Thank you
Merci d'avoir regardé. Vous pouvez également utiliser un élastique au lieu des sangles ou utiliser du velcro si vous ne voulez pas de sangles. Acclamations!
I’ve been keeping an eye out for a car trash can and THIS is the one! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to making. I’ve not used boning or tubing before. Looking forward to that too.
I’ve made 4 already, and I’m planning a few more. There are so many uses for them. I will keep one next to my sewing machine to put threads, and small scraps in, and I put one in my car. I used plastic tubing and it works perfectly.
Thank you so much Angela I really really enjoyed watching you create this amazing and awesome rubbish bag for the car. You are such a good teacher, and your video’s are beautifully presented too. I really really love ❤️ this idea. Thank you so much. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I absolutely love this tutorial! I bought your pattern and I’ve made a few. I would like to make it larger. Can you give me an idea how to adjust the markings to accommodate a bigger one?
You need to decide how big you want to make it. Decide how wide you would like the back edge to be ( for placement of the back boning and vertical stitches) and you can fold the bottom the same way or just slightly wider.
That’s exactly how I design. I make tons of samples first. Just pin fabric together without cutting to get idea of size first instead of cutting all out. Have fun!
Hello from Trish in Tasmania. Angela, I have just purchased the Pattern but am unable to print it. Is there another way for me to get the pattern/markings? I wonder if you could email me the markings? Technology is so frustrating!!!!!!!
That’s the default position when machine is turned on. Also, I’ve mainly used industrial machinery throughout my sewing career and the feet are different without ability to move needle position. I don’t move it on this machine unless I need to.
Hi Michelle, I think it's a great idea too. Your comment had me thinking, if there is nowhere in your car to hang one, you could omit the loops and instead use adhesive velcro (hook-and-loop) dots or squares and stick it on somewhere. Just a thought! 🙂
@@lesley4928 maybe they’ve improved it since then, but years ago, the adhesive on hook and loop wd melt if it got hot, so depending on where you live, it might slide down the dashboard. Maybe test it so you don’t get a sticky mess.

Fantastic pattern, thank you so much. If you can’t find boning, try using larger cable ties, it works a treat!
Thank you. Yes those work fine😊
Another great project. Thank you. I think I'm going to try to use zip ties in lieu of boning. I have several of those in my stash.
