Love this scene, just noticing the accordion player on the float going absolutely ham even though you can't hear her at all in the mix. That's commitment!
My love for 1980s movies brought me here when I was like 10 and It'll always be my favorite 80s movie
This is my favorite scene of all time it’s so funny and very entertaining
Da kann ich dir nur recht geben, vorallem wenn sein Dad aus dem Fenster schaut und mit danct ♥
Mia Sara is hot.
@@BruceBennett-wp1ugYes, But that dancer girl with the short hair🤩🤩🤩
Matthew Broderick can sing!
I just love the idea of it. You're chilling at a street fair and out of nowhere your significant other is on stage in a parade they have nothing to do with. It's perfection.
Awesome classic scene!
FYI when he falls over at end & is caught by the extras, Mathew Broderick later said in an interview he was overpowered by the massive energy from the roaring & cheering of the crowd so much so that it caused him to basically pass out & fall back. That was real cheering in that scene! He also said they never imagined it would be that big of a crowd & reaction - cool bit of classic cinema history no doubt lol
Cool bro
I loved George Harrison’s reaction about hearing that a kid reached out to the studio to find out more about the new band who recorded that song.
Made Chicago look so cool
This was filmed during an actual parade, so many of these people were just there during a parade and didn't know it was a movie.
Flash mob of the 80s!
Literally my dad. He had to ask a cop what the parade was for! Now every time this movie plays on TV, we all stand right in front of the screen to try and spot him!
Those construction workers were real, they were actually dancing to the filming.
really
Thank you for sharing this. 😊
It's funny how you only hear the brass playing when the marching band is on screen, they just fade out of existence when they are not in frame.
His dad dancing to his sons singing is hillarious 😂
I'm think his Dad knew from the beginning Ferris was out and about, but chose to look the other way.
Well, his son is miming to John Lennon singing.
Yes 😂 lol
Best feel good scene in movie history.
Ferris Bueller you're my hero
Bueller. Bueller. Bueller? Bueller.
Save Ferris!
Love how when the song starts you hear a bunch of girls screech like banshees. As if this scene was at an actual Beatles concert.
Absolutely Greatest Song for this Movie
True Detective brought back this memory for me...
Ferris? was right, time goes so fast! Wow Matthew Broderick was such a good dancer~~
This is my favorite part of the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off when Ferris sings on the float.
I love how even Ferris' dad was feelin' it.
I grew up in a small town and watched this as a child, and I literally thought this is how cities were, like people would just randomly do dance numbers
Just iconic
The innocence of the marching band with the Sexy Ale Girls dancing in the background. Lol
Legendary film❤️
The ultimate feel good scene.
The greatest scene ever.
This made happy as a kid watching this part I would always rewind it to watch this
John would have loved this.
ferris bueller's day off 10/10 i ❤ that movie
My favorite! ❤
Kids today are too afraid to do anything. My daughter graduated this year and I encouraged her to have some fun in highschool and when you get older you will look back at those memories and realize how much fun you had but she didn't do anything because nobody else would. I've never seen a generation so boring. They didn't even have senior skip day or anything. I didn't want her doing some of the things I did but I wanted her to have some fun
Ironically enough, Ferris Bueller's Day Off brought me here
Well...no shit.
@@illegitimatefilm indeed
My favorite scene in the whole movie!
SAVE FERRIS!
Ferris Bueller, a very influential film.
John Hughes must've had a good taste in music.
R.I.P. Mr. Hughes
This is my go to feel good movie.
This has got to be one of the greatest scenes in cinema history
Great scene, which I had totally forgotten about. 🎉🎉🎉
I come back once in awhile to see an old friend, Gail T. (pixie haircut) dancing on the float.
I keep watching the scene to see how everyone at the parade totally enjoyed themselves! They had no idea they were in a movie that would last forever, they just wanted to enjoy the moment. Not a cell phone in sight. On a side note: His fall was more than improvised and totally caught the women off guard. He was just so flattered that everyone at the parade was really into it, and he basically fainted. You can see the expressions on the women's faces which tells they had no idea what happened.

Danvers not a fan of the Beatles 🤣
Me too!😊
My favorite movie all time but it's tied with a bunch of movies like The Game
True detective got me thinking this song was made in the 90s nyc 😂
Simply love this scene…it makes me wanna dance!!❤❤
Love this movie. This is one of my favorite parts. OK I’m re-watching it. I have to now.🍫🍿🥤
What a vibe!
As Little Ric&ard once said, " That woooo that the Beatles do? That was mine."
Richard**
Who gives a fuck? The Beatles were way cooler.
i want to be there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Legendary 🎉🎉🎉
One of the best! ❤😂🎉🇧🇷
Best scene in the movie
HEY KIDS...this was REAL rock and roll...
It's a cover by the Beatles. The original was much better.
@@SamLopezI Nah the Beatles version is better
The 70s, 80s, and 90s were truly the golden age of cinema. Star Wars, E.T., Jurassic Park, Jaws, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Back to The Future, Indiana Jones, and so many other timeless classics
Edit 1: Jurassic Park was from the 90s, also I meant Jaws not Jews 😭
Jurassic Park was from the 90s
@@wyattc. Huh? Coulda sworn it was an 80s movie
@@ferret9263 nope it feels like it should be but it’s from the 90s
@@ferret9263 1993 to be exact
It took way too many years to realise that this song was in this movie until I saw this scene and realised
True Detective Night Country
Um dos melhores filmes que já vi na vida kkk bons tempos
Love this scene...! 🇧🇷💜💜💜
I miss America. I feel we've gone backwards 😂
True Detective Season 4
Family photo on right with two extra siblings. They're scenes were cut from the final version.
Driving in Ireland brought me here

Ferris Bueller is the ultimate example of Chad.
>does whatever he wants
>gets away with everything
>everyone loves him
>can get several girls at once if he wanted
>unlimited energy and charisma
>never stops winning
oh man... ✨
AMO ESSE FILME E A MUSICA TAMBÉM. ATORES MARAVILHOSOS❤
the people in the crowd in this scene aren't acting - they're having a blast. You can't get hundreds of people to fake that and it is a joy to watch. I wish I had been there. Shame about the Detroit Red Wings jersey, though. Go Maple Leafs!
Sensacional ❤❤❤❤
Really into this ✌️
SALVE FERRIS
CHICAGO IS GOATED
It also made skip school with friends and always have good adventure not like his but was fun
He is a good singer
He's lip syncing to John Lennon from the Beatles who were performing a cover version of the song.
This is sanitized. The original features several "now shake it up baby" moments that are bawdy and missing here.

O MELHOR FILME DE SESSÃO DA TARDE ! Para sempre!

Wonder why they posted this just a couple days after TMNT: Mutant Mayhem was released…
🤔
Coincidence? I think not.

Filme maravilhoso! Top Mill!
I m from Brazil... Like
"Curtindo a Vida Adoidado", grande clássico que já foi reprisado inúmeras vezes pela Sessão da Tarde.
If you are desperate for a similar scene to this: The ending scene in "Bill and Ted Face the Music" will do the trick. The song that saves the world is sung by everyone in all parts of the world. It was cool to see how Bill and Ted's journey ends. It wasn't about them -- it was about us.
Miss the 1980s.
eu amo❤
alucinante
I worked down there my whole life, many a parade on Dearborn Street
Impossível não ficar feliz escutando isso
