Good video. I’ve had some custom seats for my Harley’s and gold wings over the years. I like saddleman a lot but always got on well with Corbin especially on my goldwings. They are firmer but offer great lower back support due to the way the seats are made from fibreglass. After about 1000 miles they really are such good seats and I love how they are made to last for many years of hard use. I use a good waterproof wax/conditioner on mine once a year and they still look as good as new.

Had two. 1st one a corbin 100th anniversary with removable his and her backrest on an 01 fxsts, a corbin snakeskin that was grayish with white lines creating the look on an fxstbi (nightrain) and getting one this week for my 04 fxsti that's black. All three had the same fit for both riders. They are absolutely the most comfortable seats you could ever buy. They feel hard but the design makes them more comfortable than any padded seat I've ever sat on especially for decent length rides. If you've ever riden a horse the corbin seats I've ran are just like a horse saddle. You fit down in it not on top of it. Awesome seats that i wouldn't hesitate to run on long runs anywhere
Corbin is firm seat and this is part of the reason it is comfortable on long hauls. You dont want too soft seat on these long days. Give it some time you will see
I think that there are 2 motorcycle upgrades that are very personal. One is the exhaust system you choose and the other is the seat. The exhaust system must fit your ears and the seat has to fit your butt. Seats are expensive and largely trial and error, unfortunately. Correct Corbin is known for their proprietary foam which is actually quite firmer. I actually tried few other premium seats before my Corbin and couldn’t find anything more comfortable.
I just ordered mine for a 2014 Heritage. Stock looks good, but it kills me. With my long legs and the placement of the floor boards, I end up sitting on the curve just as it lines up with the passenger pillion. An hour or two on the road and my backbone hurts so much I can barely walk. I hope the Corbin fixes it.
Will never give Corbin another dime, ordered a seat last month and got it two days ago. I wanted one inch off the rear seat and my salesmen said no problem. Well got the seat and they tell me now my seat can't be lowered in the rear and the salesmen I talked today said he was wrong and it was his fault it was not done. Told me no returns and no money off my $700 seat that was wrong, petty bad this how you treat the people who pay your checks. Will never deal with them again.
@@RidersUnited They said no because it was a custom seat no returns. He gave me two choices, take it to a upholstery shop and pay out of my packet to fix it or sell it.
They sell special waterproof cream so no big concern there. I try to cover my seat when washing my bike but did it without it many times as well. Riding in the rain was never a problem. No biggie really
Take your stock seat to a local upholstery shop and get it custom redone to you liking. Will be more comfortable cost less and be a custom 1 off .. Corbin Mustang and others are way overpriced..
@@RidersUnited No they can't the shop that did mine used stock pan . And I'm willing to bet it is just as comfortable if not more comfortable than one ordered from Corbin. I have had Mustang sets definitely better than a Mustang one . And Passenger seat from Corbin was gonna be almost 700 . My redone stock seat and passenger pylon 200 I even picked the material and stitch pattern. Also supported a local business as opposed to a large vendor. I think if you want to spend the cash Corbin Mustang and others offer excellent seats . I chose to do business locally . You do you though ..
Ordered Corbin for my 2010 FJR1300. NEVER again! Customer service is non existent...totally overpriced. Ordered a backrest for passenger seat and order showed up without one. "customer service " said I cancelled the backrest. Sent copies of emails and asked why they sent me a pass. seat with backrest capability if indeed I cancelled the backrest. No refund or returns.
Sorry to hear I personally got good experience. Did you try to contact your sale person? In my case I got all help I needed so this might be way to go.

Well I have 4th Corbin and they need about 500 miles to break in but after that these are the best saddles around. Personally ai love them but yes there are not soft (on purpose) which I understand is not for everyone but seems many enjoy it like me.

2 upgrades. The exhaust system of the bike and your exhaust system. I have a corbin and feels hard is foam. But learning that it needs breaking in.
Corbin is firm seat and this is part of the reason it is comfortable on long hauls. You dont want too soft seat on these long days. Give it some time you will see

Artur, pick up gyeon leather shield. It is a protective costing for leather that protects from abrasion, Jean transfer, uv rays and water!

You will love it and remember you have one year to send it back to Corbin for adjustment which is great option. It is awesome seat for real.

That is strange to hear as they have one year period where you should be able to send seat back for any changes.

It is not cheap but it is comfy and you can customize it anyway you want. I tried to buy used one before that worked out ok.

I added risers and my comfort improved greatly so look is secondary to me. Yes higher bars would probably look nicer but I dont mind.
