Great work guys and Zara...I have to tell you that without makeup and with your hair scraped back you look even more gorgeous...you look so young and fresh faced! Please do not think I am being creepy...I am a 63 year old mum and granny and just want YOU to appreciate how beautiful you are!!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE the look of the rooms! I was first skeptical about how it would look, but the final look is amazing.
It's an old house with lots of history behind it, so it seems logical to paint it with according colours.
I laughed out loud when Zara explained that Luke would change things around just as her mother did with the Christmas tree decorations 🤣🤣🤣 She is so funny!

Gorgeous!! ❤❤❤ Just a tip, do the walls first then doors, skirting etc to prevent those tiny paint splashes on the darker colours etc 😊

Love the colours! Instead of changing the lounge door completely you can get a carpenter/glazier to remove the 2 top panels and replace with glass. We did it in an older property and were really happy with the result x

I agree that the fire surround would look even better painted blue to match the display shelving and would add more balance and a lovely focal point to the entire wall. I was so skeptical at first, because when you were first describing your colors you planned for the rooms, I got the impression that you were going to drench all walls, ceiling and trim in color, and I thought oh goodness, what are they thinking, lol! But then I see your vision, and I like it :) I love the pops of color over the calming almond white color! It's really pretty, and it must feel amazing to have this room mostly finished! You've both worked so hard, well done :)

Everything looks great, I love that rust color you picked for the library! I'm with you guys on loving color, my house is not the colors that are "in" here in the US at all, but I love them. You guys have made SO much progress in the short time since you bought this house, it is all starting to really come together. Bravo for painting together with no arguments, not long after we were married we painted a room and it's the closest we've probably come to divorce LOL!

I saw someone redo a home a few weeks ago and the wife used one of those small paint rollers. Someone asked her why she used those instead of the bigger ones and she said it was so much easier on her hands, arms and shoulders. I thought of that when I saw Zara using that big roller. Maybe she can try that in the future if she has pain from painting. Love you two, love your channel and the rooms are just amazing!

I’m a fan of a neutral palette for decorating but I do LOVE those 2 rooms. They look absolutely stunning and Zara did a lovely job of styling them. That library is pure goals 📚

I like a lot of it... if not most of it...however not the open bookcase😢... I used to have 3 open floor to almost ceiling bookcases... they looked so busy .. I now have glass doors on the top half and full doors on the botton half which softened the look.
It's always hard when you choose colours but you have got it just right, it's beautiful. Zara did a great job organising the shelves and presenting some of the vlog xx
