Great job!! Don't think you'll have them for to much longer. Just Beautiful! Hey friends lets help get our favorite Ginger Chick to 100,000 Subs by Halloween. If we all invite one friend to subscribe I know we can do it. No more Gatekeeping😊 Yvonne's talents are to good not to share!
Hi Yvonne. You know best what sells in your area. I respect that. I do think though that not everyone who looks in your booth wants something very, very distressed or with great chunks of paint chipped off of it. Sometimes when you’ve finished a paint job my brain is yelling, “Leave it. It looks beautiful as it is without heavy distressing or chipping”. Surely some clients might want something beautiful and clean looking, not necessarily old. Perhaps you could consider catering for those as well as your current customers. Just an idea. I’ve learned a lot from watching your videos so thanks for sharing your knowledge and tips.
I would of never thought of using black wax on the screen. I love the looks of it! I like the cabinet doors after you took off the graphic. Thanks for sharing!
That green is amazing! Transfer gone was a good call. I love both of them. I wish I had a place for the green one. You worked so hard on them, everything you do you do it with love. I hope you are taking care of yourself, please don't push yourself too hard. God Bless. Hugsx2. Rebekah.
Wow I can't believe how the black wax made the screens more see threw , love them both so much better. I almost bought your pie safe but I already have two so I controlled myself, ha ha but now I sure do love it.😅
All that work, hope you're raising the price, turned out beautiful, it's a new "old" piece and surely worth more. Thanks for sharing your techniques they made such a difference.
Love the way you refinished the pie safe. The black paint over the rusty screens really made a difference and was the crowning touch. Taking the transfer off and painting the inside white made the second project.
I really loved the pie safe previously, but you really zipped it up! Both pieces are gorgeous!!!!! LOVE chippy “dirty” stood the test of time looking pieces!!!!
Both pieces turned out lovely. They will fly out of your booth in no time. You have been doing this for a long time, so you know what needs to be done. ❤❤❤❤❤
Both cabinets look great with their new paint jobs. I especially like all the crackling on the pie safe. I have to admit I would have been perfectly fine with the original paint on the pie safe, I love the prim look. I look forward to your videos, keep up the good work.
I love that you’re not afraid to paint over the original patina to give a piece a different look. I’ve been chastised before for repainting something I thrifted that was a vintage patina, but it was unattractive to me and making it into something beautiful that pleases me gave it new life in my home and I love it. Thank you for the milk paint encouragement! 😊
I believe you made the right decision on both cabinets. The pie safe looks great n you doing the inside with Howard’s helped it tremendously. Love that crackling!! As for the other , I love the pantry door green milk paint n you painting inside, wow! now everyone will see what’s inside. The white was the trick. I don’t think you’ll have them for long in your store. As they both look so great. Sometimes you have to do what you have to do. You did the right thing. ♥️♥️♥️😊👍👍👍👍🌟🐈⬛🐈⬛
You've got such great insight, Yvonne! Both pieces look so much better. As an antique dealer, if no one is interested in the piece in its original condition (or mostly original) then why not make it more desirable? You did that to both. I didn't care for the gold transfer as it distracted from whatever you might display inside. Great job!😁✌
Those were fun projects (for me). 😁 Reminds me of your beginning stuff. My favorites were your dark stained wood with black❤. You have always put so much thought and hard work into your work🥰
They were both beautiful as they were however, they are both even more stunning now. Please keep us updated when they sale!! I’m sure they will go super fast now!! ❤
Yeah that green color is beautiful. For some reason that color is selling. Every cabinet I’ve done in that color has sold almost as soon as I put it in my booth
Your hair looked so cute pulled back in a ponytail. Sanding and Howards restore let the inside of the pie safe still look old, but so much cleaner. The pie safe is amazing! I wish it would walk out of your booth to my house! The green on the cabinet really made it look vintage, I really like it. It looks much better without he transfer. I love most IOD transfers, but I don't personally care for the gilded ones. I love both makeovers.
Oh my goodness I redo furniture from my shop also and I sell on marketplace and yes when it sits and nobody buys it, I have to redo it. It is not cost sufficient and time sufficient because it’s something that I have to redo so of course my time cost money my products cost money, etc. nice job on both pieces. Hope they sell if I lived where you lived I would’ve bought that pie cabinet that was beautiful rusty crusty.😂❤
In some photos it looks like it’s got ageing wax then some it looks lighter in color..love how it turned out..me personally would love the dark wax over the clear
Love the new look I love the green cabinet of course it’s my favourite colour That was a lot of work you did on the cabinets I’m sure you will sell It now thank you for sharing ❤😊
The pie cabinet turned out beautiful especially the inside came out looking clean and inviting to put things in it. I like how the green cabinet turned out. It has that old but new look. If you know what t mean.
I love the difference in the first cabinet wow. Using the wood restore inside was really nice. Very pretty cabinet in green, lovely to be seen!😅. I wasn’t fond of the gold either. They both turned out beautifully. I pray they both sell quickly. Happy flipping.😊❤
I like the outside the inside I didn’t like.I love the cabinet. If you don’t mind let us know if they get more interest. Thanks love y’all’s videos.❤️ 7:21
Oh, i love that pie safe as is, but maybe not for the price you had to charge. It turned out gorgeous, all that lovely crackle, but i did like it a lot when you first sanded it smooth, before painting with the shelves darkened. I hope it sells! The green cabinet is now fabulous! I love watching you work!
I love the improvements. I especially love how the pie safe turned out. Maybe they just were not right for your area the way they were before. Some styles sell better in some places than others.
I have a pie safe and I love it! But, the interior of mine was all painted white and I love that as it looks clean...might be an option for you! But I love how you do everything!!!!
Wow you are such a hard worker!! Both turned out beautiful!!! I love love love how the pie safe turned out and the second green cabinet was great as well. I feel like some of the aging wax would have been good on the green cabinet too but either way I still love it. 😍 ❤🥰
Hi Yvonne! I agree painting these pieces should bring more customer interest. White is my favorite paint color but find it too stark & new so, I use French White or any white that is warm & antique-looking. Enjoyed your makeovers. Blessings from Springfield 🙏💙
Great job!! Don't think you'll have them for to much longer. Just Beautiful!

Wow they turned out really beautiful 💚🧡
Nice saves! What a difference the black makes on the screens, I can picture it filled with ironstone.
🥰🤍

I agree. Sometimes, a little distressing is just enough. Too much sometimes makes a piece look dirty. IMO😮
I am so glad you redid the pie safe ,the copper and black trim looked so stark against the rest of the beat up look, now it's beautiful.
They are gorgeous!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yep, taking the transfer off was the right thing to do. Both cabinets were great before. Now they are both awesome. Love it.
I think your changes will get them sold. They turned out really nice. Thanks for sharing Yvonne.
What fabulous makeovers! They look great.
I love the results of both pieces!!
I would of never thought of using black wax on the screen. I love the looks of it! I like the cabinet doors after you took off the graphic. Thanks for sharing!

Nothing could ever be distressed enough😂😂😂..me love it!!..everything turned out beautifully ❤
Wow I can't believe how the black wax made the screens more see threw , love them both so much better. I almost bought your pie safe but I already have two so I controlled myself, ha ha but now I sure do love it.😅

Yvonne, your changes were terrific 🎉
All that work, hope you're raising the price, turned out beautiful, it's a new "old" piece and surely worth more. Thanks for sharing your techniques they made such a difference.
Love the new look on both, the green cabinet is beautiful. Looks better without the gold ❤❤❤
They both look amazing!!! That green! 😂 Reminds me of my sweet mother in law ❤
Love the way you refinished the pie safe. The black paint over the rusty screens really made a difference and was the crowning touch.
Taking the transfer off and painting the inside white made the second project.

Both are really nice.💚💚💚💚
Both cabinets are gorgeous!!! I believe they will sell fast for you! 😊
They both look beautiful. I remember when you put that transfer on. It gave you a bugger of a time. Looks better without it. Awesome as always!
It sure did… first ones are always the hardest
Nice make overs. Loved both
You have that magic touch again, love both cabinets. 💖👍😊
I love the redo on the pie cabinet.❤
Without the transfer is perfect and if I lived close to you that piece would come home with me 😊

Love the aging wax on that pie safe!❤ The pantry door on the cabinet reminds me of my childhood!😊 Thanks for sharing and praying they sell quickly!🎉
Oh, your pieces look wonderful. I like them better painted. Yvonne, you did a great job.
I love that you’re not afraid to paint over the original patina to give a piece a different look. I like the changes!
The green cabinet is perfect. I personally think it’s a big improvement over the natural.
The pie safe looks great, I’d want to put things in it now ….where before I would not.
The gold detail kind of reminded me of a gun safe when it was natural wood...the pieces turned out beautiful !
They look great! I liked them before too. Hopefully they sell quickly for you now.

Hi Yvonne! I agree painting these pieces should bring more customer interest. White is my favorite paint color but find it too stark & new so, I use French White or any white that is warm & antique-looking. Enjoyed your makeovers. Blessings from Springfield 🙏💙
