Unedited action of Scott, Mark and Martin racing their HKM-390s in their first slot of the day at the tight and technical and slippery Aldershot track. It took a little while for them to get used to the conditions but after a couple of minutes they found their rhythm and were putting in some nice laps with these 1/8 scale RC bikes. Note that the all black bike is a stock HKM-390 whereas the other 2 have had subtle modifications to improve their stability.
Thanks to Aldershot MCC for granting me access to the track for filming and to the Moto5 crew, Scott; Mark and Martin for demonstrating their bikes !

Great video. First time racing the bikes at Aldershot this year. The Hobbyking 390 is well suited to this track, need a bit more tuning but a good first showing.

They need to bring back 1/5 scale these bikes are just to small can't even go down the straights without bouncing all over the place . Nice little track though and great video thanks guy's
I have two kid versions of these bikes how are they guys? Too bad I missed the train when I was on sale I'm looking for the bike stand only place that has them as an Australia very expensive for me.

I never had a chance to try 2 wheel RC But am on the lookout for the opportunity! RC street Bikes???Looking forward to checking these out and checking it on list. OF RC Must own at lest 2 First ones of any RC don't have much of a chance for survival with me on sticks or roller
These are hard to find I found one on eBay I snapped it up no parts online at all but if I find some il snap em up too
What is the replacement for the HobbyKing HKM-390 On-Road Racing Motorcycle v2 now that it has been discontinued? Additionally, is there a TH-cam channel to watch racing of RC Motorcycles like this?
Discontinued sadly but anything from HobbyKing into UK comes from Hong Kong with expensive shipping these days.
@@EssentialRC Bummer. I hope another company makes something similar. Maybe a PeravesCZ MonoRacer 130E replica and 1/4 scale. These would be fun to watch race.
It seems to me the expo, and steering rate is too high, and possibly adjust front shock... it grips way too much on the front tire. Surprisingly the one without gyro ran the best.
