That YJ just GOES!!! 👏 I think the key to making the most of these situations is being with good people working together. I’ve come across other groups in similar situation (in exact same location actually) and it was just arguing and bickering among them trying to sort it out. Kudos to you guys for making it happen, and good judgement call skipping Dishpan on this round. That was the smart move after that already long day. 👍🏼
Great video, great run, great people. It was a long day of wheeling with a great group of people. We may not have completed all 4 but we had a good time. Note for next year bring extra fuel. We put our rigs to the challenge and they all made it home. And we all pulled together to make sure everyone had fun while doing it. It was great to be back on the trails and see what the jeep could handle! Outer limits is calling i think! 😆 stay safe family happy trails 👣 and jeepl is right we do have a problem but at least we can enjoy that problem together 🤪
After watching last years Iron Man, I came up with the “Marathon Run” to prep for the Rubicon Trail. Do Dishpan, Holcomb Creek, John Bull, Gold Mountain and Motino Wash. We finished everything from Dishpan and finished G.M. One day we will actually finish the Marathon Run🫡
Great Video and Challenge! Here is some unwanted but constructive advice. Break the marathon into groups in different events with firm requirement for the rigs. You have so many participants, which is very impressive, that you could pull this off with smaller groups and get way more footage for many more videos. Have the local high school photography team or class come and video for free help 😂. For the groups: 1. Large rigs “fully size trucks” only minimum tire size 35’s. Front and rear fully locked. 2. Any size rigs minimum tire size 35’s. Front and rear fully locked. 3. Diesel rigs minimum tire size 35’s. Front and rear fully locked. 4. Stock or stock”ish” Obviously this would be an easier trail ride with bypasses but maybe longer and include a on the trail camp. If you have seen the 4WD 24-7 guys from Australia, something like what they do. You live in such a cool place with a lot of potential for something like this. Most of all you want to get video of all the participants, they are coming because they want to be on the “TH-cams” with you. If you want to talk it to the next level from there interview each person about thier rig. The number of videos and quality of videos you could get out of this would be good for the channel. Anyway that’s my two cents, thank you for the video!
Hoping i can join next year with my rig, have lockers all the way around with an 8 inch lift on 37s,i have a dana 50 front axle,i plan on upgrading to a dana 60 and get 40 inch tires and getting re geared at 511 gear ratio
if you are getting sick the same time of yr its usually pollens or dust pollutions in that area that are out that time of yr and lots of times you can use a nasal spray to help the situation and Netty pots work really good for keeping sinuses cleaned out. sinus issues can make you feel weak head achy muscles aches and various other symptoms also going from different temp and humidities can cause the same issues with sinuses. Lots of people get sinus infections and think it's a bad cold and the doctor will give antibiotics which will clear it up but if it was just a cold antibiotic would not help. keeping your sinuses cleaned out can prevent lots of issues.
Chale!!! I'm dirtnation famous, thanks for including us in the video bro!!! As always amazing video. Hope to run into yall again soon
Which one is your rig?

This channel is so awesome. 👍I hope to join you guys someday.
Dude, I loved seeing that XJ on 31's hitting the harder sections! With tire prices these days I could totally see wheeling small tires become a thing.
15 mins in hopping to see some footage of the Fzj80 amazing video so far much love and respect 🙏
Unfortunately they were towards the back of the group so I only got a couple clips…I gotta follow up and do a run with these guys 👏🏻
