DON'T FORGET A FLOOR POTTY WHEN YOU TRAVEL. POTTY TRAINING DOESNT STOP WHEN WE GO CAMPING.

We bring a small floor potty on any trip we take from flights to road trips. Tent camping is no exception. Potty training doesn't stop when we go on a camping trip. During the day we keep the floor potty outside of the tent in plain sight. Then we clean it and keep it in the tent during the night. We do "pee pee before bedtime" at bedtime and then sometimes our kids need to go potty in the middle of the night.
The drive here took 3.5 hours and we had 0 accidents with our almost 2 year old and 4 year old. We stopped for dinner and had every use of the potty at the restaurant. Then we had to stop once more for the toddler her tummy hurt and she needed to pee. We offered potty to "bud bud" (baby) at the same time and he peed. This prevented any accidents. It's also best to teach your kids early to say "potty" during car rides. Most kids don't like the feeling of peeing in their car seat and we travel with our kids with no disposable diapers on.
We only use a disposable diaper at night and remove it in the morning and "bud bud" will be in undies the rest of the day.
Don't let potty training stop you from taking family vacations.
