Wow, this version of Game of Life seems SUPER much better than the one I saw played recently where you just spun the wheel. Here you make all kinds of choices with various outcomes and kinda cross-player interactions.
Well, tbf the one where you "just" spin the wheel is essentially the original board game with pretty graphics. And while I'd say if I look for "Game of life" I'd expect the simple game, I have to say that this version seems superior obviously.
The original definitely has less choices and interesting things happening, but in terms of video games I think they added some gang beasts style challenges and "fights" to the western version.
I know enough Japanese to play it but my family doesn't, so yes I do wish it had an English translation. If someone could get the source code for the game and provided the text is stored as text not images, it would be possible to make an unofficial English translation for jailbroken switches and emulators.

Somehow given enough money and resources I can see Korone actually buying the ISS and living up in space. This game has sure changed since I played as a kid, yet Monopoly forever remains the same experience no matter how much it's updated.
