I have to get to a live show... Have a feeling JC's crowds are just good, respectful people. They seem attuned and supportive but not so that they think their screams are better than the artist's moments.
I would hate to hear him at his concerts where his sycophants feel they are part of the show and cheer his every move so loudly it's terribly distracting. He obviously is one of the greatest musicians to come along in many many years, and his arrangements are wonderful, but of course it's his harmonies that truly distinguish his genius, but, and this is a big but, he has yet to show an equally great talent in composition like his hero Wonder. Reminds me a bit of Dirty loops, only in the sense that they both can take existing compositions and make them unbelievable, in different ways of course. So it'll be really fun to watch his evolution as a musician. And as a footnote, his voice is still an acquired taste, it is certainly not his strong suit. I guess I didn't get the memo where you're never to criticize people who have been placed upon pedestals...
starry starry night .....

Oh my gosh, I didn't know he was in Germany lately! 😮
