I visited Varanasi recently with my aged mother and sister. I saw the bodies burning at the Ghat in broad day light and i felt nothing however at 04.00am in the morning sitting on a boat and watching the burning bodies changed the entire perception of my very existence. I felt calm and never realized that tears were rolling down my cheeks. Life is simple and we complicate it and death is the ultimate truth. No beginning and no end!
Truee man😢😢😢😢

As a muslim myself i have to agree your words are 100% true. Death is the ultimate truth that we choose to ignore in this materialistic world....

Even if we are frustrated with life, we must once visit Kashi. It just gives immense peace and fills us with this new, refreshing energy. I visited Kashi in April this year. Taking the boat ride in Ganga near the ghats felt so peaceful, it felt like staying there forever. Looking at the waves and the ghats gave me immense pleasure, the calmness can't be simply put in words. Sitting at the ghat at 4AM, the next morning, felt divine. It made me look at death with a different perspective. All I could feel there was peace, as if I was very close to lord Shiv, maa Parvati and maa Ganga. It felt as if I shared all my insecurities, doubts, fears, etc with bholenath and maa Ganga. 🙏🌼

the concept of death has always scared me maybe because I am just a teenager. But when I hear the story of varanasi it gives me clear goosebumps the concept of celebrating death brings so many questions my mind. This factor fascinates me alot. Ik I am still young and their is still alot to learn but these things surely make me wonder whats the purpose of my life?
My experience of Varanasi was
When i first visited the gat in evening about 4:30pm for me it was bet scary for me.... After experiencing all the arti and death bodies were burning it was first experience to see all dis, it was scary & confusion for me.
After that next morning i visited gat again to see the sun rise....
On dat time I realised dat dis is called the life cycle.
On dat time i was 13year old and i have learnt the value of life (after ur death what knowledge & story of ur's is passing through ur generation it's trigger in my mind).
Love Varanasi from northeast (arunachal pradesh)❤️❤️❤️

I just love how you people make soo much efforts to bring these amazing stories to us ....Thank you soo much. ❤
In this modern generation nobody talks about our history , day by day we are loosing believe's from all these stories but thanks to you for explaining the story of Varanasi in an amazing manner...! 🙌✌️
6:18 the statue of KAAL BHAIRAV is from KATHMANDU NEPAL located in the premise of
HANUMAN DHOKA/KATHMANDU DURBAR SQUARE.
as you can see there kaal bhairav is laughing.
there is a story behind it as why is he laughing;
Laykoo Bhaila , also presently known as Kaal Bhairav, is considered to be the fierceful manifestation of Shiva by Shaivas, Hindus and is considered as manifestation of Bodhisatwa in tantrik form , by Bajrayana Buddhism.
The statue of Kalbhairav is believed to be from 5th century originally, and its said that it was found under the ground during the construction of canalways for water supply during regime of King Pratap Malla in 17th century.
Kalbhairav is worshipped and prayed for protection from evil spirits and for the good health of a person. Sunday is considered to be the good day for visiting Kaal Bhairav. It is said that the person who used to lie in front of Kalbhairav, would instantly die there by puking bloods.
One of the popular folkstory says that once there were a married couple where husband used to work whole day and the wife was housewife. One day, the husband doubted on her wife because she was very happy though their sexual relation was not fine. Then the husband asked if she had physical relation and affair with someone else. The wife got shocked and afraid hearing this because she actually was having physical relations with a lot of other people. They finally decided to go to Kalbhairav temple to decide the truth one day after. The very next day, wife went to her mother and insisted to feed her breast and having no option, her mother fed her breast milk. Finally they went to the Kalbhairav and there were a lot of other locals and administratives. The judge over there asked her if she had betrayed her husband. The wife replied cleverly, saying that she had not betrayed her husband since her mother has fed her breast milk. No one there knew that her mother fed her breast a just a day before, but Kaalbhairav knew this. So, hearing this, he started laughing and then he smiled. Since then the Kalbhairav loosed his power, because of a clever woman. Kaal Bhairav is believed to be the only Bhairav, who is smiling.
Another folkstory says that the chariot of Karunamaya in Kathmandu is placed exactly opposite to the Kaal Bhairav, facing each other as Kaalbhairav gains the knowledge and calmness from Karunamaya. Karunamaya is also considered to be the master of Bodhisatwas.
It is also said that, a lot of hand written manuscripts of Bajrayana Buddhism and Kulachar Tantra were burried on exact back of the statue of Kalbhairav, during the attack of Prithvi Narayan Shah , and during the rule of Junga Bahadur Rana. No any research and excavation has been done in this topic but still people consider the back of Kalbhairav as holy place and a lot of old people still refuse to step on the place as they believe the books and chantings are burried there.
The shrine of Kaal Bhairav, served as high court of Nepal, once upon a time during Malla period but it was continued till Rana regime too. Its believed that one should fulfill the promises that he or she has done in front of Kaalbhairav. The shrine of Kaalbhairav is in the ancient palace area of then Malla kings, thus is natively called as Laaykoo Bhaila which literally means, the Bhairav of Palace area.
In present day, Kalbhairav shrine has been protected and maintained as it lies in UNESCO world heritage site as well. People still visit this shrine with belief and faith that he will protect everyone from misfortune, evil spirits and obstacles that may come in life.
Salute to sir
yes I have been there...
Nice to hear you sir.. Thanks a lot, I have been here, could I meet you?

Varanasi is not the city of death but it's the city of salvation and ultimate bliss..there is a difference between those two things..an energy so lively n vibrant that you will never forget.. it's a surreal high energy experience.. Varanasi is an exhilarating place.. It is serenity in chaos..In nutshell, Kaashi is beautiful....stop over horrifying it. M from banaras and I have lived this city since 1993, the year I had born in kashi.
I have visited Kashi twice in my life yet, I am glad people like you have had this fortune of being born there. But it is not about over horrifying it, Death is actually not a horrific or negative word, it is the only truth. Kashi is indeed magical and beautiful, our bhagwaan Shiv's mystery.
Fortunate to have born in Varanasi, air which I inspired by breathing , food which I eat, the soil on which I walk bare foot and every inch of my body and soul is engage in Banaras.......

The topic you have chosen is very relevant , very few are doing it. Keep doing good reserch and keep presentation relevant, God Mahadev bless you.
I have faced death once, very close one and nothing happens dramatically before death. Death is as cruel as life is, it doesn't care about your poor father, caring mother or lover no matter how good person you are, if you made any mistake the death will take you. No angel, no devil, no god just nothing.
What was your feeling right that time?
@user-pp8fs4hp4q To be saved by someone but no one came, so I start swimming underwater until the end. Thankfully I found the ground and jumped 60⁰, I was very near to the edge.

Very interesting my life journey. I am Bengali brahmin , by profession doctor, landed in Varanasi in 1994 with my CRPF battalion and stayed at Paharia (near Sarnath) . During that time baba Viswanath mandir was guarded by our BN. I used to visit mandir in the late evening at least twice a week when the rush was less. Sometime I visited early morning puja ( 4AM) during that time we got highest privilege for darshan as whole area was under our administrative control. After many years I left CRPF and join NGO and again visited Varanasi ( I was inDelhi/ Lucknow then 2018 onward). in 2021 I took the help of CRPF and had excellent darshan. I wish to relocate to Varanasi and wish for last breadth there if Baba Biswanath want that . Har Har Mahadev
Just dropping this comment here... ! During my childhood when i used to go to the Ghatss for snaaan everytime i experienced a very strong & unbearable energy. I felt dizzy and very heavy.. Even now when i go ghats i feel the same.. i finally understood that it is because of the powerful funeral processes ! Thankyouu universe for letting me know about these !
Continue to make this kind of videos. So much educational
My Biggest dream in life is to spend the last time of my life(to die) in Varanasi (Kashi)❤ it is my goal
Shastras also suggest that when person is near to death he should remember bank of ganga mata so it is best to sit in the bank of ganga and to remember the lord through devotionally and to leave the body I am 22 year old and I am waiting for my old age
22 yrs me life toh abhi shuru hui hai, abhi se waiting for old age?
Maut kabhi v age dekh k nahi ati hai,wo kabhi v aa sakti hai to yeh mat sochna that u r only 22 and u have lots of time, enjoy each and every moment kya pata kon sa saans last ho
Bruh at 22 I would have thought of doing something productive in life rather than making a goal out of some religious belief.

Proud to be a Hindu ❤️. But let me tell you something. Arjun even after being with shree Krishn and was guided by him, but still he went to nark . So someone like Arjun who was so great also couldn't escape his karma. So someone who did bad deeds in life and think can escape this birth death cycle by dying in varanasi are wrong . Rather than thinking that we'll die in varanasi , let's Believe ki hum apne karm acche kare and fal ki iccha na kare.❤
How do you know that Arjun went to hell?
I bought a book "Murder mystery of reporter" by Jaiprakash Jha. It's a wonderful book. I was surprised with the story. I will recommend all of you to read this book. Online available 🌹🌹
Arjuna didnt go to Hell!! Do u even read the Scriptures?!! Arjuna was one of the biggest devotees of Krshna, and Krshna devotees never see Hell!!!! Kuch b ulta seedha mat failao, pehle Srimad Bhagwata,, Bhagavad Gita padho !!
@@roshnishrivastava3439I have heard that too. Not only Arjuna but all the Pandavas went to Nark after death except Yudhishthira. Because somewhere each of them except Yudhishthira happened to have done some small Karma which made them experience Narka lok.
But the story goes like, they weren't forever in narka lok. They were just there for a little time to cut off their karmas and they further came to Swarga lok.
It's said that most of the Kauravas had gone to Swarga lok after death because they died on the battlefield as a warrior which earned them merits.
My friend from BHU told me about Mukti Bhawan that people go there to spend the last moment of their life before death but they will kick you out if you don't die within a month 🙂
liked it ..good job ..keep going..shiva bless you!!!1
🕉🙏shivaya......shivji ka charan mey mera snaas nikley......kashi mera aatma hai...saarey jagat ka aatma hai.....shivji sabhi ko khush rakkhey.....swaasthh rakkhey 🕉🙏
And here, the difference lies between interpreting Hinduism by word as it is and interepreting the real meaning. It's not just tied to geographical location but also it's mindset.
Kashi - the eternal city .
Thanks for your words of wisdom 🙏
