But in between all these scriptures, there are few characters who are believed to be given the boon of immortality. It is believed that they are still walking on this planet, maybe they are living somewhere amongst us. So in today’s video, let's get to know about these seven great human beings who are believed to be alive on earth today.

1. Ashwatthama was cursed by Shri Krishna that his wound will never heal and that his body will be suffering from leprosy and yet his pain won’t end and that death won’t come to him, hence turning him immortal through a curse instead of a blessing.
2. When Shri Raam took jal samadhi, he handed over Hanuman ji the responsibility of taking care of the people behind him and that he will be freed in kaliyuga by the Kalki avatar himself.

Remebering the old times when I used to watch little krishna on TV, and that time Ramayana and Mahabharat used to come on TV and everybody in my family used to watch it together. My family being a muslim family but still everybody knows about Ramayan and Mahabharat, Those were the times ❤❤🥲
That's ancient indian history, that's not hindu muslim. It was happened thousands of years ago when there were no islam or christianity. So it's basically belongs to all of us.

Whenever I hear the Hanuman ji's bit, i get goosebumps. Thinking what a pure form of devotion he has and how much he loved his lord!
My devotion to lord hanuman has drastically grown over the last 2 years or so. I used to pray to lord hanuman but then realized a few months or a year ago that If I pray to lord ram then lord hanuman will be there. I think it was when I watched Legends of Hanuman season 2. Can't wait for season 3

There is also one story related to Ashwatthama, it goes back in 11th century that Samrat pruthviraj chauhan learnt the shabd-bhedi Vidya from Ashwatthama.

There are many immortal Saints and Rishis. Even God's are immortal because they never died. The body was dead but the spirit was alive and it made its presence felt in the lives of people on various instances when human beings transcended all limitations of Bhakti.
We human beings think immortal means that which keeps on living a long life with the body but see you have to understand that after a certain time this body will be gone because that is how it has been designed by the Universe.
I really don't have any idea of what is written in scriptures about immortality but we have misunderstood that concept because it is something more than that.
When you awaken all your chakras and transcend being a human you are a God so when you die the Universe stores all your knowledge because the mind becomes one with the universe.

Amar means Immortal and chiranjeevi means long living..both are not same. We have 8 chiranjeevis among us...it's not possible to be Immortal if you take birth on earth....That's fact...Those 8 actually stopped their aging and are waiting for Kalki avatar
