literally nobody has an issue with brandy being a petite store. what people have an issue with is the fact that it’s not marketed as or stated to be a petite store. the tags literally say “one size fits most”, which is okay and true for something like socks, but not something like jeans. and the fact that it’s for teens makes it worse. teens are much more prone to developing eating disorders from outside influences, such as brands that their peers buy from and idolize not selling their size and effectively boasting about it. also this woman is not even close to “plus size”.

as someone who never fits into normal clothes (in between kids and women’s), brandy saved my life. Kids clothes are never cute, so this brand helped me.
The one size isn’t made for exclusivity. As a bigger person I know that it’s hard to find my size in stores. That’s why stores that sell plus size clothing are really great. It’s the same thing with brandy. So many small and petit girls can’t find their size in stores. Yes it’s easier than finding plus size clothing, but that doesn’t mean that it is easy. There are some girls that are just really thin and can’t find their size in stores so a brand like brandy that sells small sizes is great. Stop acting like body inclusivity doesn’t go both ways.

I’m a petite person, my bust is bigger than my hips if that gives you a view. I’ve never ever been able to find joggers or jeans or skirts that fit me right, but brandy is brand made for petite people. I’ve never gone into a plus sized store and complained about the sizing, because I know it’s for a specific range of people.
