I've just started sculpting in blender ( Been modeling in blender for 7 years) But my patience is so short so it takes so much time! Watching this wants me to keep trying!
I have somewhat of a short patience with a lot of things, its good to take your time and not rush things, day by day!

what dictates whether you retopo the face or not? Ive seen some where you don't, and some where you do. Im curious.
mm depends if I wanted something smoother, cleaner, maybe to make texture painting easier, etc. I actually rarely retopo now,.

How do you do your lights? Its something I've always wanted to know
Elaborate? I don't think i do anything too complicated, I add lights till i get the look i want. Rim lights do wonder for popping characters. HDRI is useful too!
@@yansculpts the position of the rims lights, settings, that kind of stuff. Mine always look bad and weird
@@PlantedWhale07 Mm i guess you can benefit from looking up fundamentals of lighting for basic light set ups first. Hard to say why. Materials play a huge role too btw

I liked the way u currently sculpt and got your course thinking I'd learn the same method but it seems to be out of date, mostly because it's using pre blender 2.8 and doesn't go into detail on ir current methods

Blender has default ones, you can find them if you go through their files

You should sculpt bodies when you do this... And then make A CG trader profile and sell each one for a 100 bucks youll get rich's as c*** you're so famous... Then tell us how much money you make and stuff and that and that will motivate us to do the same

Dono on the top of my head but my sculpts generally take an avg of 5 to 8 hours, depends on who i am sculpting

I believe 3.x for sculpting, i think i did texturing in 2.9x
