Fun fact...Yanmar side by sides are made by Yamaha, I was a utility/welder for them. Cool process to see those machines built. They also build quite a bit more stuff for Yanmar, its just not widely known
Best video of the year!! Your brother sure is a cool guy! 😊 You’re very smooth for a 1st time operator on the mini ex. And fun to see the 4x4 on the little JD in action.
I've seen dune videos on TH-cam of people building houses out of them. It seems like they would be awfully cold and industrial inside... But some people like that. So more power to them
I'm adding a 10 ft. leanto on th e side of my 20 ft. shipping container, and wondering just how to transition between the container roof to the roof steel on the leanto? I want the rain to possibly run from the shipping container roof to the roof steel on the leanto with some kind of flashing.
@@PainterD54 I'm not sure exactly how my brother finished it off... @ptnelsonster can you describe how you transitioned from the container to the lean-to?
My lean to roof slopes up above the shipping container roof by an inch or so. Since the container roof is flat, water will then run off under the steel lean to roof. This is a problem because some water will inevitably get on the rafters in the hangers, and and over time rot the rafters. So I used loads of tar and some flashing on the edge of the container roof, to prevent this. So far the tar is sufficient to hold the flashing in place without screwing it to the container (more holes in the roof to leak). It's not a perfect solution, but is working so far. good luck!
Face shields work better if they are actually DOWN......just kidding. Enjoyed the video, nice job all around.
You're right. I'll report my brother to OSHA 😅
I could've hauled the rock but te truck needed more axles. Good video and Blessings too yall!
Next time!
@@jonelsonster I'llhave to do it on a mower now. Done went and got geezerish!
That whole John Deere was made by Yanmar.
Good catch, yes I think you're right.

Wow, thanks! And I'm sure you're impartial! 😉
These shipping containers as storage and even housing has become a big deal in some places in Wisconsin. This looks like it will work out nicely.
