Bit of a running gag with these guys on some of their vids. The accordion player always turns up late.............well, right on time actually, in an unusual fashion, love it , love it, love it.
Don't feel bad man I'm from Southern United States and I thought they were a local band until the accordion came up I knew something was going on but I had to watch a lot more of their videos before I found out the real truth and that really blew me away anyhow I really did dig their music but then again I'm a big fan of bluegrass and rock and roll these guys are the Perfect Blend!!
Accordion guys never shows up early or late..but just when he's supposed to! Seems to be a thing. I had a concert of them last night with my BF..love everything they do! So tight
They are all around super talented and super nice guys! Been following them for many years now and have had the pleasure to get to know them personally. If you haven’t done so already, go see them live! They will knock your socks off! 😅
One thing that makes me smile is that Thunderstruck words suits perfectly to that small village boys Image.. Visiting big City, seeing a "dancer" who gave so much fun that they were thunderstruck and had to Make a song about IT back home 😜😂
🤣 dude, “130 million views, I seemed to have missed this”, welcome to my world 🤣, and any band that has a dude playing the spoons and another playing the anvil deffo gets my vote, love it bro 🤗🇬🇧
They are the nicest of guys, saw them twice last year in Helsinki, outdoors in July, indoors in November, it was also a live stream. Just days before all gigs were cancelled due to the pandemic. They were selling their own merchandise so it gave me the opportunity to talk with them for quite a while, smallish venues, that helped. They now have a different drummer and bass player, both great musicians like the previous ones.
That was awesome. Great song choice. The accordion, the base, and the drummer "spooning" were refreshing to hear. All that was needed was someone blowing into a shine bottle, and the washboard. I love bluegrass
During quarantine I’ve either been listening to symphonic metal or bluegrass. Nothing soothes my soul like watching some doc Watson and friends. I found these guys too. I told them they should be state side playing at Merlefest. I think both doc and Merle are upstairs grinning from ear to ear listening to these guys. I can hear doc saying “son that boys playing an anvil” with that grin of his.
If Young, Young and Johnson didn't return their royalty cheque to Steve 'N' Seagulls, then I believe the surviving members of AC/DC should be subjected to 'High Voltage'. This 'Live' music, great filming, a barrel of fun and a perfect example of when composers should be proud to support new talent! Angus/Brian - upload your support.
Hey Thomas!! Good to see you reacting again! I normally kinda fear new groups that ppl react to; but I listened to Heilung and loved that reaction. Now you bring us this. Just amazing musicianship and again just another great reaction. I don’t trust many reactors and their choices of music but I’m on board with ya. Keep it coming!
Finland has it all. Even skillful banjo playing hillbillies. 😂 Here’s a few more covers to check out; Seek and Destroy th-cam.com/video/F5m_8HuEBI4/w-d-xo.html The Trooper th-cam.com/video/Li58voy6xXM/w-d-xo.html You Could Be Mine th-cam.com/video/8S_Ja5DYn1o/w-d-xo.html Nothing Else Matters th-cam.com/video/3JFb_aOn6rc/w-d-xo.html
Yes you definitely need to react to "November Rain"!!! In my opinion their cover is better than the original and I love the original, that's how good it is.
This is so much fun! had a smile the whole time on my face. In matter of banjo/ Bluegrass. have you ever heard of the Dead South "Banjo Odyssey" ? one of the concerts i still have a ticket for and waiting for the rescheduled Show (hope dies last)
Since you enjoyed this check out Iron Horse doing bluegrass covers usually of Metallica, Hayseed Dixie doing War Pigs and finally Mark Kroos playing Dueling Banjos.
Great reaction Thomas, they're awesome. You should see them cover Pantera's Cemetery gates. Have you seen 2Cellos cover of Thunderstruck? Well worth a watch too. Keep rocking, hug from Portugal.
Oh man, you play the Banjo? I always dreamed of having a Banjo as a kid, and it was the first thing I bought when I started working. Dope instrument with so much soul.
Yeah, I agree! There's something cathartic about just sitting back, playing it and zoning out. I'm actually posting a folk cover soon where I'll be playing it, if you're interested.
what might ac dc guys like this song :) well both original and this cover bring happy smiling energy feeling. thanx thomas reaction and have great new month there.
there is many other freaking good bands that should have been world wide known. like Peer Günt, their song "back seat" is legend and rocks since early 80's and every year they still play !
Thomas check out their cover of Battlebeast's Eden with Noora Louhimo and Seagull's nest interview with Noora which also includes a cover of a Janis Joplin song.
I like this version and also the instrumental 2Cellos version that came out at the same time. You should react to that version as well. Another good crossover is the German beer fest band The Heimatdamisch doing Sweet Child O Mine
Besides this, I like their covers of Nothing Else Matters, Trooper, I Was Made for Loving You and Born to Be Wild (live in Texas) But there's plenty more - hard to find a bad one.
@@ThomFoolery1 I didn't either... And then...about 2 years after I found them, I saw them live in Tavastia Club , Helsinki . Been totally in looooove since then😍😄
Bit of a running gag with these guys on some of their vids. The accordion player always turns up late.............well, right on time actually, in an unusual fashion, love it , love it, love it.
except for the Song Sad but True. There he is the first to leave on that old MF135
these guys caught me off guard. the kind of "joke" act you'd see on a ... Got Talent show and they just blow everyone away.
I had no idea they were up to 130 million views on Thunderstruck. I get goosebumps every time I hear it!
Don't feel bad man I'm from Southern United States and I thought they were a local band until the accordion came up I knew something was going on but I had to watch a lot more of their videos before I found out the real truth and that really blew me away anyhow I really did dig their music but then again I'm a big fan of bluegrass and rock and roll these guys are the Perfect Blend!!
this band is from where i live, Hankasalmi!! :) when i was little kid these guys started to jam with their friends :)
Authentic Finnish story, 100% believable. That's all you need to know. Short and true.
Steven n segal are fantastic
Everyone I play that song for (and the rest of the album) loves it.

Haha! It's hard to keep up nowadays. 😄 glad you liked it mate.
They also do "CEMETERY GATES". The banjo player has an awesome voice. Great reaction. ♥️💯😎
Herman on banjo is a stud. Lol never thought I would say that about a banjo picker

Everything about these guys is an upper. Love 'em to death!
That was awesome. Great song choice. The accordion, the base, and the drummer "spooning" were refreshing to hear. All that was needed was someone blowing into a shine bottle, and the washboard. I love bluegrass
The Dead South makes much use of great banjo...Canadian Bluegrass. Very upbeat music...very dark lyrics.
This one just keeps calling me back, this group is great, love their sound.
Сколько раз слушал ребят, и точно также с улыбкой головой трясу при их песнях.
I love this group. They are amazing. Such a switch on the original music they cover
Just wait to see them on stage !
They're awesome, and if you're lucky, you can share a beer chatting with them !
What do you play ? The anvil 😂😂😂
Yes, they are excellent, loads of fun... I have their selection in YT allready some 3-4 years...

You have good taste, Amber! Both genres are also right up there for me. Both have very "pure" qualities, if that makes sense.
Best between-bands-during-concert band ever!!!!!
Bluegrass my ass!
An anvil is as heavy metal as it gets.
American does Hillbilly.
Finnish : Hold my Koff
I saw this band in Nightwish-cruise..
It works so great. Both Boogie Rock and Bluegrass have good drive so it fits very well
Their cover of Pantera's Cemetery Gates is my favorite!
Awesome I hot to see them in Fayetteville Arkansas a few years ago. Crowd pleasing and very kind over the hill groupies like me haha

Absolutely!
Your reaction was the same as mine 🤟🤟🤟 the version of the trooper is amazing 👏 🙌 ❤
th-cam.com/video/Li58voy6xXM/w-d-xo.html
also they have been in top 10 list in US :)
One take recording with live audio. November rain or Nothing else matters by them should be next.
Still waiting for Burt Reynolds & Jon Voight to come around the corner 😁😁😁😁
🤣🤣🤣
This is so much fun!
had a smile the whole time on my face.
In matter of banjo/ Bluegrass. have you ever heard of the Dead South "Banjo Odyssey" ?

You didn't mention how the lead singer was just abusing the hell out of that mandolin - and playing it really well.
Awesome! Thank You!
Enjoy your reaction! Really all their covers are excellent.
Try Holy diver or the Trooper covers 😁
Need to hear these! 😄
@@ThomFoolery1 Just subscribe to their channel. Too many awesome covers. They also have some long concert performances.
Enjoyed your reaction video! They are my favorite band ever. Check out their version of I Was Made For Loving You. It’s insane❤️
Since you enjoyed this check out Iron Horse doing bluegrass covers usually of Metallica, Hayseed Dixie doing War Pigs and finally Mark Kroos playing Dueling Banjos.
They are absolutely amazing!!
Great reaction Thomas, they're awesome. You should see them cover Pantera's Cemetery gates.
Have you seen 2Cellos cover of Thunderstruck? Well worth a watch too.
Keep rocking, hug from Portugal.
Thanks Nuno! I'll have to hear that Pantera cover! Yes I love 2cellos, I saw them live and they were fantastic. 🙂
Now that you've seen Steve'N'Seagulls Thunderstruck, check out 2Cellos.
I've seen them live! They're awesome 😃

One take .... (and it took them quite a few attempts to time the arrival of the lawnmower correctly).
what might ac dc guys like this song :) well both original and this cover bring happy smiling energy feeling. thanx thomas reaction and have great new month there.
Thanks buddy! Same to you. 😄
I'm half Cape Bretoner. A long time ago, I could play the spoons.
If you haven't already, check out Hayseed Dixie.
Real heavy metal! Ya should volunteer their roadie (they'been in US few times..) Wouldn't it be nice carry anvil around...
Haha! That would be a tough job but like say, very heavy metal. 😝🤘
Second best finnish band, easily.
Nightwish should use them as openers, just for the feel-good factor.
there is many other freaking good bands that should have been world wide known. like Peer Günt, their song "back seat" is legend and rocks since early 80's and every year they still play !
They seem to be good songwriters too. "Sweet Maria" is a wonderful song. It's a matter of taste, but Nightwish ends up far down on my list.
Please check out Wolfheart, "The Hunt."
Thomas check out their cover of Battlebeast's Eden with Noora Louhimo and Seagull's nest interview with Noora which also includes a cover of a Janis Joplin song.

Ah yes! I've actually seen 2Cellos live. Love their stuff. 🙂
Saw S'N S thrice on stage, they're awesome.
Walk off the earth made a nice G'n R cover too, in another different style.
Finland :)
Anvil is musical instrument you know... :D
Besides this, I like their covers of Nothing Else Matters, Trooper, I Was Made for Loving You and Born to Be Wild (live in Texas)
But there's plenty more - hard to find a bad one.
Master of puppets is great also. Band is evolving...
🤘🇫🇮🤘
you should check out the music video to sabatons englis version of livgardet (the royal guard) that came out last week.
I thought they would start the tractor for the rhythm, that would be epic. :D
Haha that's genius!
Hyvä Hankasalmi! 😀👍
The Trooper.
Can we live without the Finnish "Bluegrass metal?". Of course no! 😵⛄👍
I didn't know I needed it, until now..
@@ThomFoolery1 I didn't either... And then...about 2 years after I found them, I saw them live in Tavastia Club , Helsinki . Been totally in looooove since then😍😄

Cool! Thanks 🙂
@@ThomFoolery1 thanks guy
the most American thing i have ever seen thats not American
You should do the banjo cover of slipknot's phycosocial feat Leo Moracchioli.
listen yjat.
Nice reaction. But I think you got the wrong link to the original video.
You're right! I fixed it. Thanks 😀
Live performance, only one mic...
