How did the edge hold up after processing a whole deer? It's becoming one of my favs. I really want a Taggedout because I love my Bugout so much... But having the SRM, I am having trouble justifying $180 for the Taggedout which might not be all that much better if a knife... Better steel, sure... But is that worth $150 more than the SRM? Not really. ..
@@SquireSCA I’ll be honest. The D2 held up real nice and wasn’t difficult to touch up after. Just a ceramic rod and a few minutes was right back to razor sharp. I have the brown version with black blade and D2 steel. I love it.
I just purchased the black stonewash finished 9201-gb from Amazon and it does not have the jimping in the hole. No problem thumb flicking or Spidey flicking it. I think you're right and those steps make it harder.
I have been carrying it the past few days. It's well made, feels good in the hand, weighs a lot less than you would think a knife this size would weigh...
Doesn't SRM (Sanrenmu) make knives for Spyderco, Buck and even one of the benchmade models? I'm not surprised that the fit and finish on that knife is decent 👍. I'm pretty sure they're the largest knife manufacturer in the world, if I remember correctly🤔. Thanks for the review sir ✌️.
Just subbed! They are a bargain for sure!👈💯
I have one of these and I processed one deer with it this year. It’s a great alternative to the tagged out. It did a great job on the deer.

Cool knife
If we could just get you a shoutout from one of the bigger knife channels I think your knife reviews would take off. They’re some of the best.
I would love for that to happen, both with knife reviewers as well as the motorcycle stuff...

Yeah, the knife is usable, but the thumb hole is not as functional as it could be... I like the way it looks, but it does take away from the usage...
Thank you can you do more videos on budget knives for the budget men .. We all can’t afford these 400$ knives in these ruff times !!
I would say that the majority of my knife reviews are budget knives. There are a LOT of great, quality knives out there for $50 or less.
Dave, any additional feedback on the SRM 9201 ? Thanks and happy new year!

I honestly don't know much about them, but it wouldn't surprise me if that was the case. I will do a little research and see what I find.
