I went on to watch this video to find out more about the guitar, but instead I ended up just baffled by how insanely good Greg is on the guitar.
I come to hear his rap!
The subway joke cracked me up😂😂
I just wish Greg would let a note or chord ring for more than a 10th of a second so I could hear what the guitar sounds like rather than just the scratch of his percussive right hand attack.
Great video, love the humour mixed in with real playing, has me jonesing for an es les paul
I need that ax... My strat is fine as wine .. But my hunger for that Gibson tone goes far back . As My Gibson 79 Was stolen years ago . SICK SICK SICK TONE string brother
You can tell the axe was inspiring you... whoever you are. Some nice licks in there. Sounds like fun to me as well ;-)
one of the best guitar players ever!
When played standing up, does this guitar neck dive?
I know this is two years late, but mine doesn’t and is lighter than this one. Somehow the neck is light as well. I could definitely see that happening on other examples though if the neck has any additional weight.
Lemon Burst: Caking the world with sonic zest.
Greg, you are a fine modern gentleman! That axe is ridiculous! You make it sound as though the gods of rock were speaking through it....and that Friedman! I have to watch this video again :)
Not gonna lie. Ran across this video 2 days ago and have watched probably 30 other Greg Koch video demos since!
just bought one today.....wine red....YES
Greg Koch...first of all you are sick in the head! Secondly, I'm attempting to steal your licks because you sir are friggin awesome!! and sick in the head :)
Has this got the HMS pickups?
Yes, MHS Memphis Historic Series
@@dalehobbs8782 thank you. I went on to buy these pickups to install them on a les paul, I'm the happiest man in the world.
Damn, I agree with Big Truth on this one.
I have one of these without the f-holes, I’m surprised at how much different it sounds compared to one with the holes.
Can you explain how it is different? Thanks.
I'll do you one better and give you a link to Ron Chapman playing the same guitar.

I bought one of these 6 years ago in Adelaide, Aust, but mine was a natural finish.
I've used it for hundred of gigs around the world I still love it !!
Update: two of the inlays on the neck popped out; kinda pissed off about that; looking to replace them asap.
Good to know....I'm in the market, love the weight alternative Thought it sounds very good
One of my inlays popped up (not out yet). Just living with it at this point. Love the guitar though
@@dalehobbs8782 be careful of that .. don’t lose it
I love this guy! Picking it flicking it lol
Yes very niiiiiiice !!!
Greg is the best!!!! and that les paul is an absolut toy for him. jajaja Man, he's the more freakin tallest sasquatch guitar eating master player!!
Hahahaha made me LOL that is a synopsis of the music industry today. Shown the door and collectin' change.
RIDONK. Monster playing too!
U re the best🎉
Wow those things are light. Seems good for standing and playing haha.
that Friedman amp tho...
Just bought one
Me too... Amber...love it.
how would you rate a prs ?@@garethpepin6167
@@jerryx2000 I have not played one, but PRS have a fantastic reputation !
Just got back from an extended lunch break....
lmao this guy is great
Nah seriously..love Greg Love Wildwood Love Gibson...nuff said/. Peace
Even though I've just bought one of these most people would be better off buying a 335 and/or les paul instead
Really ?? Why is that ? I'm shopping and appreciate the pros and cons Thanks
This guy plays as he hates music but likes guitars.
sounds like a fender for triple the price lol
What?
Proof that it's possible to play guitar amazingly well while stoned out of your mind.
ya or..you could just buy an album from the sixties
Tell us you've never been stoned without saying you've never been stoned
Greg is definitely not a Gibson player...he is much more comfortable with Fender...
You should search his vids playing an ES-335....you'll change your opinion
frank james 🖕
I just spit coffee on my keyboard......."go watch Teletubbies" Best Comment !!!
Ridiculously overpriced .
MrDcseltzer as all Gibson’s are. Those price mark ups are so unbelievable ridiculous and high.
I guess you don’t understand how markets work, and what an astonishing guitar that is. Pity.
If they would just play the guitar instead of clowning around, I might buy one.
he talked for about a minute and a half, and played for about 7 minutes, and for that reason you won't buy one? 7 minutes of playing wasn't enough for you to figure out whether you would buy one or not? Strange indeed
Well read the news then...plenty of misery there..
Too much playing!!
