Venusaur and Slowbro’s buffs in tandem are pretty substantial. Slowbro was already one of the best back line tanks, and now he has access to a whopping 60% attack debuff. That’s huge for neutering divers and assassins from getting to Venu and killing it. It also really hurts any attack based healing or shields. Add that with sludge bomb’s now 40% SpDef reduction and Slowbro Venusaur is going to be a potent combo together.

Greninja is one of the most skill based Pokémon in the game. In the right hands, he’s an S-tier mon. If you don’t know how to play him, you’re cooked. I feel that’s why he’s been untouched. If they buff him, he instantly becomes OP in the right hands.
Agree, however I think they need to buff his health a little and possibly change his ultimate move. I would like to see the form battle bond take hold in a similar manner to x/y mewtwo. And in that form he gets a temp buff either reduced cool down on moves or a speed and attack buff

Think Charizard would benefit a bit getting the duraladon treatment in the future. Put more into powering it's ability damage and potentially lowering its auto attack focus

But it neglects to factor in that other pokemon (slowbro, venu, garde, etc) ALSO have hugely impactful unites that can decide the ray fight, and they STILL get to be proper pokemon outside of their unite. Char does not ☠️ I agree with others, a general dmg increase + maybe a focus on his melee build would do wonders. Char also gets silently buffed/nerfed with the changes to draft requirements. Draft is a huge buff for him, I actually dusted him off (early main) and put in some work last season when it was only 1200 elo req. He got nerfed this season (haven't had a draft match yet) bc he's super match-up dependent. When I see 2 or more squishies (decidueye, garde, glaceon, etc) it's a strong pick to be able to reliably take their primary dmg dealer off the map in big fights. But in the current meta, bringing him blind and running into slowbro, trev, and comfeyduo monsters like ttar, is a nightmare.
I said before T-Tar takes time to get going. The fact they nerfed him after providing it with a much needed retooling to make it viable is a bit disappointing. With the new nerf, I wished they lowered the level requirement for T-Tar so it doesn't feel like it is late to party to contribute in team fights. The enemy team will actively hinder you from getting your stacks in, and will exp starve you from reaching level 9.
Thank the lord for this Dura rework, I’ve been playing him for a bit now and loved his concept but always felt like there was something missing. This feels good now.
My take on it is because the battle pass is Blaziken (fire type) + Slowbro’s Holowear (water type) and they both got buffed 🔥🌊 I can see the nod to Ho-Oh 🤔
Falinks is definitely a winner here since it didnt get touched lolol. But in all seriousness even tho I play leafeon a lot, im glad for the nerf on its blade move. I dont play that so there's that, but also I always felt it did way too much damage, like its cool to oneshot things but christ theres a limit too..
ugh... they really need to rework dig now... dig is supposed to work a little like... Talon's Fly or Gyarados' unite.... Dig and fly in the games usually almost works the same, so if they can make a variation of it in unite like... make it act like fly but it can't cross walls, it move a bit slower, etc.
I don't understand why they don't make some of garchomps moves unstoppable since most mons in the game have a move that can stun it really makes garchomp enviable in high ranks most games
I want to share my slowbro build with you spragles just not sure how to. Slowbro main defender here, and it already allows me to both defend and carry so i loved this buff. Will allow me to hold off physical attackers a little more. Its also a great build for just ripping objectives.
Actually the buffs to Mimikyu are Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak got the CD buff and Play Rough only got the increase in the movement speed reduction of the enemies. Mimikyu’s CD has always been 7.5 sec and it never changed at all. The CD buff is only on Shadow Sneak. Also Dragon Rush(now 5 sec, before 6 sec) and Dragon Claw(now 4 sec, before 5 sec) in Garchomp got buffed.
Y has had 7 nerfs and is still just insane. With all the attack speed nerfs from attackers his prowess just goes up. I see many people doing 80k+ myself included lol.
Why are ppl so mad about zoroark? Maybe I'm stupid but zoroark is literally just like dodrio where everyone was saying it broken nerf it despite being a highly skill mon? Revert the changes from dodrio I feel like super skilled mons like that should be a Lil more powerful than anything else and yet they nerf skilled pokemon and buff brain dead ones? Plus, prior to Ttar mega buffs a patch earlier, Zoroark are either banned or picked by Tournament players. Clefable gravity is no longer as prominent of a healer too which helps. But hey, maybe some people DO want to be stomped early by a Zoroark Comfey duoQ in lane. Very fun indeed (Rapid Strike Urshifu PTSD)
My dream Chomp change is to have dig/quake a combo-able set like rush/claw. Maybe have the combo'd version be unstoppable? But my dude already hops in the air with dig, just slam back down bud!!

im not sure the absol is that big a head scratcher. when you make duraladon such a pinhole for the meta, you need more counter picks, talonflame is already fine, gengar needs a bit more work, and meow is also fine. so you buff absols damage to make it deal with that major threat when the others are banned right?
As mimikuy main I wish it doesn't receive a buff cause that usually will come with a worse nerf later. The only thing mimikuy needs is a little bit of defense in my opinion

I would've liked some quality of life changes to machamp Like almost every all rounder, if not all has a move set that has some heal and sustain... would be nice If he were abit more tanky in that sense Because his moves don't do enough damage to justify him not having any sustain and the only moves that do enough damage rely on the crit luck and he takes too long to come online I would love either more sustain or maybe make it so that his power spikes don't come so late and then those power spikes don't even matter coz there are far stronger late game pokemon with more damage and more sustain
I really think they need to rework Cinderace and Greninja. Their play styles are very subpar into a more stun heavy meta that’s been here forever, and they don’t have enough damage output to justify their simple moves set. The other auto attackers have moves and niches they can fill to supplement their play style better and do different things, but Cinder and Gren don’t have it to that good of an effect as the others.
Those duraludon buffs are actually really exciting but greninja should've been touched a tiny bit as well. If they don't want dura to be the objective rip then they should nerf objective damage from other fast attackers like garchomp, deci, cinder, dragapult, NS meow, etc. Seems kinda unfair (not that I used it to rip objective but do the same for others y'know?).
This is a hot take but they should make Duraludon a special attacker. If it is no longer meant to be as basic attack focused it would make more sense with its moves and stats to be a special attacker. Also they should let it evolve into Archaludon.
It's still pretty much an auto-attacker though. They took a bit of power away from its normal autos, sure, but it still relies on auto-attacks for both movesets. It needs autos to build stacks for Dragon Pulse and the attacks during Flash Cannon are still auto attacks, just unique ones. Granted, I don't see why an auto-attacker couldn't be special-based. We have Mewtwo Y as it is, though that seems to not really get grouped in with the auto-attackers all the time. But I'd be all for more uniqueness between roles. The big issue for Duraladon specifically would be losing all the crit-based items, but hey, maybe they could add a new item. We could certainly use more items. Though a crit-based special item would kind of be a nightmare for the aforementioned Mewtwo. As for Archaludon... It would have been nice to see, but I think this patch probably confirms they have no plans to do it. If they did, they probably wouldn't have done this type of rework.

Phantom force invincibility is good alright, but on a squishy mon like this what's the point, you just survived one attack just to be taken out by other, healing on 1 move is available, but charges slow (again too squishy to charge attack), the unite move is the only thing that this mon has. It should work like meow, give him shields, give him more heal, give him something of a clear role. I was looking at API and no surprise all movesets have 45-44-46% win rates.. 😂😂

Your choice what you like more and good with. I am literally better with charizard than dragonite. Pokemon doesn't matter 'much'. To try different movesets and pokemon,you can go offline mode.(I don't know if you know that)

Winrate ruined dodrio but also cc ruins both mons real quick and mew got a no needed nerf which was one of my mains and things like mimikyu and slowbro got buffed? Who are braindead pokemon to play not as brain dead as mewtwo but the easy to play pokemon get so much love like lucario espeed got nerfed zeraora got nerfed (besides the wild charge build which can die in a f!NG fire along with play rough), mew nerfed, dodrio nerfed, etc. I get that this is a kids game mainly but there should be characters that lil Timmy can play like Pikachu and do good but not like broken bc there are also skilled players like our content creators, and tournament players.
@@m1dn1ghtqt well, it came down to a similar reason why leafeon needed nerfs too; early game damage is too much and you don't really have a way to counter it. Plus, prior to Ttar mega buffs a patch earlier, Zoroark are either banned or picked by Tournament players. Clefable gravity is no longer as prominent of a healer too which helps.
But hey, maybe some people DO want to be stomped early by a Zoroark Comfey duoQ in lane. Very fun indeed

im not sure the absol is that big a head scratcher. when you make duraladon such a pinhole for the meta, you need more counter picks, talonflame is already fine, gengar needs a bit more work, and meow is also fine. so you buff absols damage to make it deal with that major threat when the others are banned right?

I think the patches having a name is pretty cool, but I think the biggest winners are Blaziken and Mimikyu, they did not need those buffs
I really think they need to rework Cinderace and Greninja. Their play styles are very subpar into a more stun heavy meta that’s been here forever, and they don’t have enough damage output to justify their simple moves set. The other auto attackers have moves and niches they can fill to supplement their play style better and do different things, but Cinder and Gren don’t have it to that good of an effect as the others.
The buff I want for Duraladon is Archaladon!
Those duraludon buffs are actually really exciting but greninja should've been touched a tiny bit as well. If they don't want dura to be the objective rip then they should nerf objective damage from other fast attackers like garchomp, deci, cinder, dragapult, NS meow, etc. Seems kinda unfair (not that I used it to rip objective but do the same for others y'know?).

This is a hot take but they should make Duraludon a special attacker. If it is no longer meant to be as basic attack focused it would make more sense with its moves and stats to be a special attacker. Also they should let it evolve into Archaludon.
It's still pretty much an auto-attacker though. They took a bit of power away from its normal autos, sure, but it still relies on auto-attacks for both movesets. It needs autos to build stacks for Dragon Pulse and the attacks during Flash Cannon are still auto attacks, just unique ones.
Granted, I don't see why an auto-attacker couldn't be special-based. We have Mewtwo Y as it is, though that seems to not really get grouped in with the auto-attackers all the time. But I'd be all for more uniqueness between roles. The big issue for Duraladon specifically would be losing all the crit-based items, but hey, maybe they could add a new item. We could certainly use more items. Though a crit-based special item would kind of be a nightmare for the aforementioned Mewtwo.
As for Archaludon... It would have been nice to see, but I think this patch probably confirms they have no plans to do it. If they did, they probably wouldn't have done this type of rework.

They could always update it too, it took them over a year to add the first gen 9 pokemon and the indigo disc was only 6 months ago. I am just copeing a lot because it would be really cool and future proof for any evolutions of other pokemon they add.

I'm really surpised they didn't buff Cerulage. It's so tragically confused mon, like is it an all-rounder getting KOed in a single shot, is it really a speedster? Phantom force invincibility is good alright, but on a squishy mon like this what's the point, you just survived one attack just to be taken out by other, healing on 1 move is available, but charges slow (again too squishy to charge attack), the unite move is the only thing that this mon has. It should work like meow, give him shields, give him more heal, give him something of a clear role. I was looking at API and no surprise all movesets have 45-44-46% win rates.. 😂😂

Attacker:- Glaceon or delphox
Support:- Clefable or eldegoss
All rounder:- Tyranitar or gyrados
Speedster:- Meowscarda or Leafeon(literally all else are good too in this category)
These are just what I think you should buy first, ofcourse you can buy of your choice for fun
