So happy this vid came out. I’ve always been saying that Trick Room is a good way to annoy Mewtwo and a lot of auto attackers that like to kite. Sure shadow sneak gets into him, but then you get pushed away and killed by his teammates. It’s also an awesome counter to red buff slows

@@piercemat331 the role isnt the issue tbh the pokemon itself is just hilariously overtuned also you can apply that logic with roles to someone like absol who isnt fast at all or even trevenant who isnt that bulky
It's funny how good trick room is now. The fact that you're essentially impervious to damage while in it plus you get an insane amount of healing from boosted autos, plus the ability to have shadow claw on no cooldown is actually great.

I'me telling you, the damage reduction in this build is so underrated. It basically makes useless pokémon like Glaceon or Inteleon if they don't approach (which obviously they don't want)

I was hoping this would be kept on the down low but I guess it's out now to the masses...this is the best solo queue build by far with the healing and mobility - can 1v9 with it if you play it right.

Nah, mastering shadow sneak and learning all the possible angles you can use throughout the makes lets you do completely illegal stuff. Trick room's dashes are cool but other than that the move doesn't really do anything. Either they are inside it, therefore it doesn't affect them, or they are outside, therefore out of your range so you're just taking free damage even if greatly reduced. I love the move as a concept but i feel like it should be on a ranged character. I guess one can be annoying with trick room and playrough but eh.

At least Mimikyu needs to aim Unlike handicap pikachu players I have outplayed more Mimikyus than Pikachus But I admit Mimikyu is cringe, especially play rough Shadow claw players have my respect
At least he's playing the off meta build. Besides, Pikachu's volt tackle/eball build has always been one of, if not the easiest kit in the game to play, the problem was when they buffed the build to hell and back before finally nerfing it more recently. A build with that low a skill floor consisting of point and click stuns and burst dmg being meta relevant is gonna leave a bad taste for most people for a long time (like m2y, Darkrai, Charizard)

i had a match with an absolute GOD trick room player in the enemy team. Since then, i loved this move and its playstyle
reliable engage AND disengage will always be good no matter the matchup
But mewtwo is sure hit, so you can’t dodge in trick room
