I am listening to this in 2020 and Angelina has been on America's Got Talent where she was a fan favorite, but mysteriously finished 10th. She did three wonderful versions of other peoples big hits and made them hers, as per normal. She is still finding her own way, her arrangement skills are getting sharp and of course her singing is spot on. because she has grown to 6'0" tall we tend to expect more from her I think. She rarely misses, or never misses, the mark when doing a song. I guess maybe that is what I mean, this is from a time way less complicated and it rests so easy on the ear. Thanks for the reaction. Lots of people make comparisons of Angelina and other popular young singers, however, there are a number of things that set Angelina apart from all of these other young ladies. Angelina chooses all of the songs she performs and she is so diverse in her taste and abilities that she has not painted herself into a corner of one genre of music. Her originals are world class especially for one so young! She never tries to imitate an artist but makes every cover her own! She now produces her own videos from soup to nuts and the quality is very professional for the most part. There's a lot of great kid singers at the moment. But Angelina just have that something very special and unique in her voice that's not there among the other great kid singers. She doesn't need to nail high notes to sound great like the other kid singers. She definitely can nail them but she doesn't need to do that at all. She can sing in any note with her soulful voice and she'll still sound beautiful and great.

If I have already told you this my apologies but It is an important story, too me anyway. Way back in the very early 1960's I often went to Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club in Soho. It was there I had the unbelievable joy of seeing the great Ella Fitzgerald. So when this little angel sang this I sat there, mouth open wide, and then I cried, memories flooded back. This little girl has a pure jazz brain, a great voice, a delightful personality and already has made this silly old fool a very happy man.

Many many people, great artists and unknowns attempt this song and I’ve had hits with this song until this particular performance the only one that rivals it is Annie Lennox. It’s an incredibly fragile sign that is not suited to many voices or temperament. This woman hits it right on the head. One of the two best performances I have ever heard and I do search for them.
