I've heard so many of you say this one or that one has been born in the wrong era. For context, let me say that at 70 years old, I'm quite familiar with those eras; have even lived through one or two, and for the past four or five years I've been amazed and gobsmacked at the young age of some of the most talented performers it has been my good fortune to have come across in the past 30 years or so (thank you, Internet). There appears to be something truly remarkable happening in the world of talent, and it seems to have been going on for a number of years now. Amira Wilighagen, Jackie Evancho, Darci Lynne Farmer, Angelina Jordan, Jonathon Antoine, Louisa Johnson, Courtney Hadwin - to name just a few. A veritable cornucopia of remarkably gifted, talented and so, so young performers, and I'm only scratching the surface. They haven't been born into the wrong era - that's where you're wrong. You're just failing to understand that we're sitting at the start of a brand new era that people 40 or 50 years from now will be looking back at in wonder and awe, the same way we look back at the Jazz era of the 1940's or the Rock and Roll era of the 60's. Your majesty (well northern one anyway), I misspent my youth in places like Ronnie Scott's Jazz CLUB, The Marquee, The Flamingos etc; all in the West End and saw there the greatest including ELLA, so this wonderful child has brought memories flooding back. She truly is an old soul in a child's body, what a wonderful future she is going to have.

A good reaction video. First time I heard Angelina's version of this song, I listened to it about 10-15 times in a row. This version is from my point of view one of the best, and one of my favourite videos from Angelina Jordan Astar . 😀
At this point, I've not listened to the original or any other version so all I know of this song is through Angelina. I have to say it's both strange and delightful. It almost sounds like she's adopting a Spanish accent. And alternating so well between what sounds like a husky contralto and then a sweet mezzosoprano is remarkable for such a young talent.
Nice reaction don't be fooled by her age, this sound is practiced but still unique. Which makes her more remarkable.I don't usually follow people who perform on these "talent" shows. Angelina is one the few exceptions for me.
