My honest hair growth journey: prioritize sleep, maintain scalp cleanliness, shampoo less and hydrate more, get regular trims, brush hair daily, and apply liitlllextrra serum of reactivate every day. It includes rosemary and other beneficial ingredients that consistently promote the growth of new baby hairs.

I mix rosemary, coconut, peppermint and castor oils and leave it in my hair 30 min before shower twice a week. I've noticed fuller hair and less hairloss. I also take hair vitamins. We should keep in mind that any treatment we do won't be an overnight cure. It takes at least 6 months to a year to see any result.

I started taking the pumpkin seed oil (1000 MG/day) and after about two months, I noticed my hair was growing pretty rapidly. I was taking biotin for a year, but I felt it wasn't doing much. I also added rosemary oil & water treatments to my routine. I would say the combination of the rosemary oil & water along with the pumpkin seed oil has worked well for me! I looked into the pumpkin seed oil. The study used a particular brand of Korean supplement, Octa Sabal Plus, that uses not only pumpkin seed oil (23-28%) but a variety of ingredients, so it's hard to say if pure pumpkin seed oil would give the same results.
    Octacosanol
    Soybean extract (19-24%)
    Mixed vegetable powder (20-25%)
    Evening primrose powder (23-28%)
    Corn silk extract (0.04 - 0.1%)

Dr Dray doesn’t mention that the Pumpkin Seed Oil Trial was done with a Korean brand called OctaSabel Plus. A $600+ supplement that contains several other ingredients: One capsule of Octa-Sabal Plus contains 100mg of pumpkin seed powder - not oil. Additionally, contains a proprietary blend of:
    Octacosanols (derived from vegetable powder)
Gamma linolenic acid (derived from evening prim rose powder)
Polyphenols (derived from red clover powder)
    Lycopene (derived from tomato powder)
Corn silk extract (from corn silk powder)
These ingredients aren’t just fillers. Just like pumpkin seed oil, they target the myriad triggers of pattern hair loss. So if your wondering why your pumpkin seen oil you purchased over the counter at GNC didn’t work, it is probably because it doesn’t contain these other additional ingredients. The study doesn’t mention how these other ingredients could have influenced the results

Pumpkin seed oil is delicious to use in a honey vinagrette salad dressing, instead of using olive oil. It adds new dimension to the taste. It is quite pricey, but you only need a tiny amount though, as it make you very "regular"!
Once it is opened it needs to be stored in the refrigerator, to maintain nutritional benefits. It is not to be heated, or used in cooking. Pumpkin seed oil is an intense green colour. I buy mine in an Indian grocers.

On my mom's side of the family, many of the women lost their hair. I am now 55 and started having hair thinning in my mid/late 20s, but now it's much worse due to menopause. I do have too much androstenedione (male hormone). I know some don't like having to put stuff on your scalp, but I started using 8 drops of rosemary essential oil mixed with a little olive oil (the EVOO is a "carrier oil") every night on April 20, 2022. Rosemary oil has been studied and is as effective, without the side effects, as Minoxidil. I put a thin plastic shower cap over my oiled head at night. Anyway, I was looking at my scalp this morning, and I have tons of little baby hairs coming in where my temples have lost a lot of hair and all along the front of my hairline. I think it's working! They say it takes 6 months to really be able to see good new growth, but I have a glimmer of hope.

My understanding (which could be wrong) is that mens libido can deteriorate as we get older bc our estrogen levels rise, which in turn lower our testosterone levels, thereby lowering our sex drive. BUT, if the MOA behind Finasteride is to block the conversion of our testosterone to DHT (which stunts the hair growth in the follicle), wouldnt that mean we have more testosterone in our systems and thereby less estrogen? If there is less T being converted to DHT, then we should have more T in our bodies, thereby less estrogen & more sex drive. No?

I have been making my own rosemary oil since they grow abundantly around yard. Also make rice water which is also easy to make. I use both on hair & scalp. I also use dermaroller just where hair is thin. Not rolling but just pressing the roller so I wouldn't incure breakage. Rosemary you can just mix that with water in a spray bottle and spray on scalp, then dry as normal. I like making my own rosemary straight from the plant because I know exactly what I'm getting.

If you have fine hair, olive oil can be difficult to wash out of your hair, making it look oily, even after several shampoos. You would never use an essential oil like Rosemary or Clary Sage directly on your skin/ scalp; but always with a carrier oil like castor, almond or coconut oil. Studies are limited on natural treatments because a prescription can't be written for them so the monetary incentive isn't there.

Castor oil. Is by far. The best thing to happen to my psoriasis. I put it on my scalp for a few hours before I wash my hair. It also stopped my hair from falling out.

How do u apply the rosemary oil? Which carrier oil to use

    • @BlueMoonShelly
      @BlueMoonShelly 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

@@AmarSingh-uc7px Nothing scientific, yet it feels really healthy! I grow rosemary plants in my yard. If you don’t have any fresh rosemary, look in the produce section of your grocery store, as I often see fresh rosemary plants there. After cutting many sprigs of the rosemary, I put the fresh sprigs in a clean canning jar and then filled the jar with olive oil and cap it closed. I keep this in the refrigerator. It’s really starting to smell wonderful and the oil is getting a bit darker from the rosemary. I massage the rosemary infused oil into my scalp. The olive oil feels good, but it is a *little difficult to wash it out. Whether or not it is helping my hair to grow, its too soon to tell. However, I *feel like it is helping. I hope that this is helpful 🌻

Wow, what educational and understandable videos you are posting! I have a quick question. Due to covid and my depression worsening, i started losing a lot of hair. Like literal clumps. Feeling like shit, i started using a mix rosemary and argan oil on my scalp and leaving it in for about an hour before washing my hair, and it worked for me! I started seeing noticeable results after 6 months, and after about 8 months my family started to notice the hair regrowth as well. I also started using hair vitamins 4 months after i started using rosemary oil. It's relatively inexpensive and it helped my hair so much.
