Would you recommend this trail for kids and electric wheelchair. My family and I recently started biking and i use an electric wheelchair and we have a 9 year old so wondering if this trail is easy ride. Is it hilly like you mentioned at the beginning?
hi bikers i am a bike rider from the 70s will never wear a helmut but anyways the problem is there should be a trail from duluth to canada and there is not in certain areas bikes have to ride on hgy 61 with a very narrow shoulder totally unsafe i live in this area the reason there is no countinous trail is the unbeliveablyt rich people living on the lake will not allow it mainley the encampment river area
I guess each to their own on helmets, but having crashed twice while wearing a helmet with no head injuries makes me a believer. Also, I have attended to people who have crashed without a helmet who have had pretty bad head injuries and concussions. You are right about the North shore being dangerous for bicycling and the slow progress of a bicycle path. I would guess it will happen eventually but not in my life time 😞 Thanks for watching.

Looks like a beautiful trial though with lots of different views
It is pretty hilly in spots, so I don't think I would recommend it for younger children. The trail surface conditions are good.
