It is not just buyers it is inflation and automakers especially FORD tacking on the higher prices to try and recoup some of the serious money losses occurred from their failed bid to go all in on EV's. It really sucks because to have to pass on losses due to your mistake not knowing what the customers wanted was a real Dick Move on their part. Then you have customers wanting ever more features added. The biggest part though is inflation, but if you listen close to Jim Farley part of his strategy to get out of their mess 120 grand per EV sold loss by selling the gassers so basically passing on their failures to the customers. For that I hope Ford goes belly up for all I care they should have known EV's were not going to replace combustion.

I blame consumers only to a certain point. Fast food and nice vehicles are like attractive lures/bait to a fish. Very hard to resist. However, the dealerships know this and take full advantage of it. It ultimately comes down to a species who has a hard time resisting wonderful things in an unfair world. However, discipline is our responsibility. So is cutting back on certain things, and finding a deal/vehicle you can afford. So, I guess I would blame customers the most, but only to a certain point.

So I have a 2023 Ram 1500 that I bought for $50,000 and within the first year and 10k miles it gets totaled. My insurance is suppose to pay the price minus my deductible for a replacement equivalently equipped truck and some even go so far as to say up to 1 model year newer.

Being repetitive i know, but this makes no logical sense. Making decorative trucks that no one can afford is illogical for a business and the unions are just as naieve. How many workers does one need to make vehicles no one is buying - none. And just saw how many people in the True North want to get out because of the cost of living ( ah..but where to go. Looks like that wild hair guy in Argentina, of all places, got some of it figured out). The stockholders will lose insisting on the present cours.e..better smaller profits but a fuctional company ? Get back to making cars and we consumers should diminish the egos and buy what is sensible. (End of rant...)

It is the people whom you elect into White House and capital hill make the policy that eliminates competition and allow the big three to charge as much as they want. Why do you blame the car companies? They are supposed to be greedy.

The Chinese are far ahead of American in the EV tech, I don't think so In China there are EV car fires daily about 8 a day that catch on fire and burn to the ground even BYDs buses catch on fire while people are on it riding the bus.

When you’re out on the lot be careful around the exploding Jeeps. 💥💥💥🔥
Just think, 🤔 for the price of two or three of those trucks, you could buy a house.
    🛻🛻🛺 = 🏠(not everywhere of course )
Sam Walton was a ‘Have’ and he drove around in an old truck.

There's thousands of vehicles that will rot away, which is obviously millions of dollars 💸 that's going out the window ,that's what these stealerships deserve for overpricing their low quality vehicles
