The Range Rover is almost certainly a loss even with the YT revenue. Nice thing in Hoovies case is even if YT isn’t that profitable it’s great marketing/name recognition for his other ventures like the Barret Jackson gig and getting GMYT off the ground. I’m sure GMYT is a goldmine. other than the capex on the studio (and paying Jake) the cost of creating content is almost zero so it’s YT revenue without the cost of buying the cars. April seems to do a better job picking whatever cars she buys anyways, lol!
I used to have a great mechanic until I moved. My only complaint ever was they had an apprentice do my oil change and he pulled the funnel out after filling and wedged it beside my engine right in the exhaust manifold and forgot it there. It ended up melting all over the side of my engine and side of my turbo . They paid to have my engine detailed to clean off all the plastic and gave mw two free oil changes. when i told him i was moving he was nice enough to do an oil change on my car and my wifes SUV for the two oil changes.

The later 904 and bigger 727 transmissions don't run the pump in park and the 727 is much bigger and heavy duty so it will start out shifting very soft till the pressure pumps back up. I used to start my Dart in neutral to give it time to build up pressure for a minute or so and run it through the gears before I drove off in the morning. We used to call it morning sickness. Transgo later sold a pump in park kit to fix it along with their transmission shift kits and other goodies. The last 727 we built for the Dart we put one in it but I never installed it before I retired the car. They MAY make a shift kit for the push button transmission depending on what that early transmission is based on if you want very hard snappy shifts, or a stage 1 kit that just beefs up the pressure and shift points a little bit so it lives longer. Enjoy it, very reliable platform with lousy mpg. We had a 57 wagon with the same drivetrain in it and I don't think we ever killed the engine, but I believe we did have to put a used transmission in it. Probably had a lot of miles on it back but it was just a 10 year old family beater for us.
Limited number GT-3's make sense that the low numbers kick the price up. Low numbers for a stupid idea Rover convertible that is low numbers because nobody wanted them makes no sense. If it sold for $9k, I would not be surprised.
Maybe it helps ? Sadly. There are thousands of EV owners who are in deep red with their EV loans. While their EVs are depreciated in few years thousands of dollars. In some places in sunny California, it costs more to charge your EV then fill up tank of gas.
Not surprising that Porsche took a major loss. Anyone wanting an actual usable safari build will need to redo that entire build. Body lifts do exactly only that. Lifts the body up for more fender well clearance. But that means everything low hanging is still low hanging. Therefore your offroad romp was no different than driving a normal original Porsche offroad. That's why you damaged everything underneath so badly. A safari build needs a true full suspension swap with parts that actual add ground clearance, not body lift. So the new buyer will spend money to remove all the mall crawler poser parts and put real performance safari parts on it if he wanted a safari build.

Considering this is your business, you can write the loss off on your taxes. I need to follow your business model as I love cars and barns.
No way really? You honestly don’t think he already knows that. He didn’t lose a penny considering he gets ad revenue and collaborations of anything he probably made more than double or triple on the cars
you don't know how write offs work. He saves the tax money on that 25K ( maybe $5K ) but he is still out the 20K.
@@batsonelectronicswow, someone who actually understands finances? Seriously sick at seeing all the “write it off” comments
@@icepop54367 I hope you are not yelling at me, I understand how write off's work ( self employed for 3 decades ) I wish others understood, they don't seem too.
Watched a little bit of Barrett Jackson this weekend. Saw you wondering around the stage! Too bad about losing that much on those 3 vehicles. Christine is beautiful!
Yeah but you kept the Countach. Don't ever sell that until it is 7 figures, man
Usually, all you have to do to lose your ass on a Land Rover is buy one.
The Buick and the Porsche seem to have gone to the perfect buyers for them.
28:57 - The blazer isnt the *ONLY* thing thats beautiful on that ramp there.
I was looking for this comment. Wow!
That's Tyler's future ex-girlfriend
🤣
Fan of cakes there, are ya lad?
PDS was the perfect sponsor for this video! 😂
I'm a simple man, I see a Hoovie video.. I grab a beer and watch the suffering of the dumbest YT channel on the internet
Same!!
🤣🤣
Wish I could grab a beer on a Monday morning 😅
@@joemother1098 Follow your dreams hahaha
That evoque loss is what happens when you fix a car that isn't worth fixing.
Pushbutton Chryslers are to be driven exactly as he said. You just put in in the gear you want and go. You DEFINETELY don't put it in Neutral while shifting back and forth. Neutral is pretty much for Parking only.
That dumb excursion cost you $3,000 for less than 30 minutes of abuse of the Porsche. The Land Rover was just a mistake from Day 1. The off-roading of the Land Rover was the last gasp, but that repair, given the condition it came in, was just a matter of time.
You mean the Landover with self taping screws holding its bumper together didn't sell high? I'm shocked, frankly.
Bro had the Range Rover for a couple months. Beat the shit out of it and then spent even more money on a new engine. How do you not expect a loss 😅
Sellers don’t want to budge on self inflated prices and buyers want to lowball. Markets at a standoff. Who will falter first?
Sellers. I'm more than willing to walk away from a crap deal.
Hoovie plugging the car wizards channels in a fruitless attempt to decrease his bills 😂
Yet his “friend” still charges him off camera for that cats cuz he couldnt let that few bucks slide 🤦♂️ I wasnt sure if his behavior was just a role in hovies films but now I know he is like that for real. One greedy mdf
Yes, but how much did Hoovie make from the TH-cam videos on these cars? He probably still came out ahead.
That sponsor choice was hilarious! Tyler your comedy chops are pretty stout.
I wouldn't pay any money for a Ranger Rover. I might take it for free, but probably still wouldn't.
I'd take it free to resell it to another Hoovie out there
For decades most media personalities (Carini, Rawlings, Collins, …) have lost massively on most auctions they show. Yet most of them are comfortably rich 🤔
Never use any product or service advertised by youtubers. Pretty simple rule.
Most are unappealing and shitty anyway, don’t even bother checking em out
You may be losing money on the cars but I bet you make most back of what you lose in ad rev. Great video as always Tyler!
I cant believe how well you did on the buick.. 10k is great! 18 for the land rover is low seeing the blue book is 27k-31k . The Porsche was a bit too over customized honestly. So its a hard sale..
you used the evoque like a stunt double in an action movie on one of your episodes. you got more than it's worth dude, even with a new engine.
Hoovie’s Garage is the best TH-cam channel!
If you think all this is expensive, just wait till Sidepiece finds the next bigger better sucker and takes you for a spin.
Are we the only ones to see its not going turn out the way he thinks.
@@chalachin4452 Good question. I'll bet they're shopping for her ring even as we speak.
Ouch
...only if he is stupid enough to marry her without a prenup...
We love Hoovie, but she is quite honestly a drag down for him. I hope he goes into this relationship with eyes wide open. I will say that dating Hoovie has helped her commentaries on the preview cars at BJ....they used to be beyond stupid and full of misinformation.
Missed a joke there. One of the cats was cheaper because one always hangs lower than the other. 😅
Car market is tough now.
whole market has been rough, Gotta thank sleepy joe for that
Wait till next year. Repossessions are gona be on a all time high.
The wizard got you again. My buddies 07 4Runner with 320k on it. Just got new manifolds with cats for $240 off the jungle site straight from China also same place most of the aftermarket crap is coming from. They should last at least another 100k.
Cars , are like boats!! money PITS
I am baffled that 2 people were willing to pay that much for an evoque
Limited number GT-3's make sense that the low numbers kick the price up. Low numbers for a stupid idea Rover convertible that is low numbers because nobody wanted them makes no sense. If it sold for $9k, I would not be surprised.
Hey Hoovie, Maybe let your Mom & Dad choose your car(s). Then we can finally see you put out a "How I made $26,632 selling 1 car" video.
Maybe it helps ? Sadly. There are thousands of EV owners who are in deep red with their EV loans. While their EVs are depreciated in few years thousands of dollars. In some places in sunny California, it costs more to charge your EV then fill up tank of gas.
I'm glad you made this video, it reminds me of my transformation from a nobody to good home, $80k bi weekly and a good daughter full of of love
Hello!! how do you make such bi-weekly , sometimes I feel so down of myself because of low finance but I still believe God

Great video 👍Hoovie doing the "ever since you" changed the air in my tires the abs light came on 😂😂😂
Earliest I’ve been at a hooptie update 😅
Hoovie, I hope your video brings you back some return. On the loose you just took. 😅 it’s why you have a fan base that backs you up even when you lose. 😅
Honestly, anyone bidding on that car that WATCHED your video on it would never want to own it. You trashed it in MANY ways.
That Plymouth is beautiful. Your 49 Cadillac is still my favorite though. I was sad when it didn't start.
Cars and Bids is not a good place to sell SUV's outside of very specific models. It caters more to car enthusiasts.
