  • This little gem north of Allentown, PA is about 13 miles in total. With scenic views of the Pennsylvania River, and connections to nearly a dozen parks and more than 25 historical sites, this trail offers a fun-filled excursion through east-central Lehigh County. The former Ironton Railroad served many Iron and Cement companies; and a highlight is the 1893 Coplay Cement kilns. Today it is popular recreational resource for local residents and visitors. Along the trail, riders will find remnants of the past -- and at least one unexpected surprise! This ride took place on June 27, 2021.

As usual, you did a 'bang' up job. The comments were 'incendiary'. You always have 'ammunition' for your shows.
Thanks again for a wonderful video.

Hi Don, You are too funny!! This was certainly the first trail where I felt I had to dodge bullets! Thanks for watching.

Just like riding through downtown Baltimore. Just a bit safer this time.

That’s funny! Not sure about Baltimore as we haven’t been there on our bikes yet, but we’ll take your word for it.

Nice bike trail. Gonna get up there for a nice fall ride. I’m pretty sure the gun range you go by is called, Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays in Coplay. I’ve shot there many times but never new there was a bike trail on the other side of the walls. Safe riding all

First time I rode that trail the range did startle me

It is a very different ride. I was more than a little nervous -- so I rode really, really fast. Thanks for watching.

Having bullets whiz by sounds like something that happens to zany sitcom characters, but certainly not a lot of laughs in real life. Excellent job as always though, and hope you return to New England again for more adventures.

Hi. Thanks for watching. Although there was a tall wall between us, it still was a little unnerving. But something we will remember!

It was a little unsettling to ride past gunfire. But we will show every trail we ride so people know what to expect. Thanks for watching. We hope to “see” you again on another adventure.

The walks are there to protect all riders. Hmm, where did I hear that about walls..
