I have appealed a parking fine, but I haven't heard back from the council since 30 days the appeal. What is the legislation for responding time for the council and after how long the fine is cancelled if there is no response from the council on the appeal? Many thanks

Also, fines you get from private companies are not parking fines, they are just invoices. If they want to fine you they have to take you to court. The only people that can issue parking fines are local councils and the police.

She forgot to mention that all parking fines are based on the hourly rate of the car park, also if their is no hour rate in the car park, say a supermarket, then there cannot be any monetary fine, that's as I understand the law.

I parked in over white line’s with my hazard lights on. I was out and i saw the lady coming by my car i went in my car trying to move the car but she came behme and blocked me didn’t let me go and write me a ticket? Can i win???
