Do not put the chemical directly into the toilet bowl as it can damage the blade. It should be put into the cassette through the emptying pipe and measured with the cap.
Here in Australia the government provides dump points all over the place, sometimes in the most far out places. Caravan parks almost always have them and they are free. In America they charge US $15....
Can you detach funnel. I have just emptied mine and took funnel off to clean and now I can't get it back on and beginning to think I may have broken it.
Was wondering where does the toilet tissues go when you do a no 2 do you flush it down the loo doesn't it block the cassette loo .... as thinking of buying a cheap motorhome when i become homeless .....
Hi Kalbim on a long trip sometimes we put it in a bag then burn it or just flush down the loo it doesn't get blocked (homeless take care and look after yourself)thanks for watching
I certainly would NOT empty my Cassette like this. Messy or what - and I agree with the comment below - Don't put the fluid in when the cassette is replaced in the van. Do it beforehand to save the loo being stained blue!

Until this week I have been using my portable Thetford, as the on board loo compartment, has been used as storage. When I press to flush the pump runs but no water comes out.
This is actually wrong!! If you read the instructions, you're supposed to put the Elsen 'Blue' into the yellow cap and pour into the cassette via the spout, as you screw it back in (the cap has markings on the inside to show you how much to use, depending on strength), then you're supposed to 'flush' the toilet from the inside to add the water you need. Also, you used far too much 'blue' on this video, hence the need for measuring.
a lady that i know is renting one of those mobile home trailer, i was thinking about it to rent it for myself, $375.00, not bad, it has a little kitchen space, stove, microwave, i mean everything, of course is not big!, but im 5.5-127lbs, so for me it would be perfect😀👍,., BUT!, after watching videos and how to empty the toilet, i see is not an easy task😳, i can't handle that on daily basis!, obviously this is not good to live there for a long time, is just for camping!! but i was thinking to give it a try!, what you people think?
There are biological fluids for use in both the flushing tank as well as the waste tank. I use Solbio or Elsan green, but there are others. These will not harm the environment and can be emptied into ordinary toilets. Don't use the blue stuff, it's horrible for natural processes and the environment!

Do you flash the toilet paper into the camp toilet or need to put them somewhere else ?
we put toilet paper in a bag then burn it but you can flush it in a proper toilet its fine

In the bottom of the cassette you con fill the yellow cap up and do it that way
Put the blue stuff into the cassette before putting it back into the motorhome. This way, you don't stain the toilet bowl.
