Thank you for great tips. 👍
@@AndreaWilkes-j9r glad it's helped 👍
My Missus did the plastic covers, bbq connect point etc, with a product called Elbow Grease and they came up really white, she swears by it….😊
@@justintime-x4f yes I think B&M sell it, it's very good on lots of parts inside and out👍
I 2nd that, elbow grease is fantastic for the locker plastics.
Hi Mark. "top tip" For 35 years iv'e used white spirit and a very fine toothbrush on the silicon round lockers, apply the white spirit leave for 5mins then with no pressure on the toothbrush scrub the silicon repeat if necessary and it will come up as new and bright white. 👍👍
😊
Thanks for the tips, very helpful.

You’ve done a good job of that. I don’t expect all caravans to be perfect but they could atleast be clean, I see a a lot of caravans covered in muck

Very satisfying job done, great tips 🎉 thanks mark 👏 x

Mark, please do a video on how best to clean outside the huge front roof window, as these are a pain with the plastic surround housing that zig zags in and out making cleaning it a pain, and also cleaning the extractor fan roof grill as these get so dirty from use, thanks Mark if you can please 🙏
I thought G3 was like Silky; yes, they remove major crud and marks but they are both abrasive, as you say in the video they are “cutting in” and they take the gloss off the paintwork. Fenwicks range of caravan cleaners are my preferred options they even do an over wintering treatment - no abrasives.
@@peternelson6167 yes more of a t cut so then needs the polish 👍
Interesting and oddly satisfying to watch, thanks. A couple of questions. Was that a part exchange? Why was the caravan in such a dirty condition in the first place?
Brilliant 👌🏻

As the saying goes, you can wash in £500 to a van or car-i think you probably managed to wash in £2000 on that one! Looks good!

Hi Mark company in cannock called sure chemicals. Have product called sure gloss none. Absolutely brilliant used it for years
@@stephenburton2110 thanks 👍
Mark cheers for the video, I do mine slightly differently, I use my ik foam pro 12 with bilthamber touchless, or surfex hd as they are both free rising and work great with my worx hydroshot ( van in storage) I also take off the front locker seal and give it a good clean then replace and wipe over with carpro perl the perl stands for plastic engine rubber and leather protectant...could do do a vid on thetford burners that won't stay lit.....they have never been used in a van that is only 3 years old.....cheers
@@richardkirk9421 thanks, yes we have had a fair few hob issues lately so will see what we can do👍
@richardkirk9421 we had one burner that wouldn't light. Believe it or not, one way to get them lighting again is to hit the turn knob a number of times!! This worked with ours. BTW it is lack of use that makes them not work!!
Grate video's thankyou. May I ask you a question, is it better too use a caravan cover over winter for without ,appreciate your advice.
I thought for a second this was my next door neighbour in your storage yard, but I don't think it was quite as bad as that lol
@@ashleyjohnson1908 possibly was lol
What is the best way to clean around the underneath of the roof lights where the black collects, please?
@@andreaprophet1101 small steps inside, open the roof light and sponge around. 👍
@thecaravanplace we have done that but it is almost impossible to get to the underneath of the hinge side when you can,t get through the smaller rooflights. Sponge doesn't do the trick
Hi Mark, I see the bailey orion in the background of the video. When you get the time, will you be able to do a mini video on the Orion. A take around. I do like the little onions. Thanks buddy
@@David_K160 👍
Why do you use the G3 instead of the Pro rapid detailer 2.0 for the black marks
As it seems to be less harsh ?
can you use a jet wash will it be quicker
Could you use a power washer with a snow foam cannon to pre treat the caravan? If so, is there a caravan product you could use or would car snow foam be ok?
Except job by the way - you don’t do conservatories by any chance as well? 😜
Nice ‘van what’s the price and weight, wouldn’t mind swapping my Freestyle 480 in on that😊
in stead of useing G3 just use Civ
You need to do the roofs are your vans as when we came over a couple of months ago your vans were most grubby..My wife said these vans are enough to put anyone off buying a van...
Yes, when we have a fair few arrive at once we can't get all the roofs done, we had a fair few getting filthy from the trees too. But everything should be looking as it should again now, other than the newest arrivals. It's a never ending merry go around trying to keep them clean inside and out. 👍
great video again mark just a quick question i need to make a new entry on my awning rail to fit my canopy how do you recommend doing this i only have entry points at the bottom of the awning rail
You just need the awning rail bending back using an awning rail tool. Most dealers will probably have one. Takes just a few seconds.
@@overthehill1986 if you Google awning rail tool, hopefully it will come up with the little tool. 👍
Don't lean you brush on a window 😮.
@@brianknowles1727 👍
first one that i am watching can you stand on the roof
Blimey that is one minging caravan, not been cared for at all by the look of it some sort of cover would have helped.
