The whole idea is that the captain of the team is responsible for making sure the team is victorious and wins as much money as they can. You're going to change from Annie Lennox to Carly Simon. All right. All four answers are locked in. Let's find out if you can pick up a half a million dollars. Here we go. Is Tina Turner one of them? For the introduced to the Public before 1970 Question, I would have guessed the following 4. 1: G.I. Joe 2: Etch A Sketch 3: Mr. Potato Head 4: Transformers
The problem I have with this game is the captain runs the team and cannot consult with the team on an answer, so if the captain is not sure of the right answer or changes the right answer to a wrong answer it's the entire team that goes down. I feel the team captain should be able to consult the team if they are not sure. And it isn't fair that the entire team goes down based on the captain not knowing the correct answer when the team can be saved by helping the captain. For that reason I feel the game is unfair. Other than that Chuck Woolery is a great host would love to see him host again even after Lingo.
Well there was a safety net on Super Greed, where if your team successfully answered a $1 million question (what would be $500K on regular Greed) and your captain advanced to $2 million, your team was guaranteed $200,000 regardless of the outcome of the rest of the game. But I'm sure the producers put that in place to encourage more teams to go past the sixth question which prior to Super Greed, Dan Avila's team was the only team do such. But the lack of the safety net was what created the tense edge-of-your-seat atmosphere, part of which made the show so appealing.
@dvferyance and with the episode with Bob they purposely played the wrong answer sound and the correct answer just taunt him and say "you had it right"

(Another comment by me, yay) but I must say that that's pretty faulty logic from Andy at 6:15. Secondly, although math is certainly required in high school (I remember seeing this episode when it first aired and I was in high school at the time), I don't recall calculators being used in post secondary. Here in Canada we did use calculators in high school math, mostly for graphing capabilities (with a Texas Instruments TI-83 calculator), but when I was an undergraduate in university, calculators were not used (and largely banned entirely), at least for the core calculus and statistics classes. Finally, whenever I have a backpack with me, regardless of whether it was back when I was a teenager or today as a 30-something, I will have as little as possible in my pockets, as as much as I can in the backpack. Granted the question did say "teenager's backpack," so it's ambiguous if we're talking about high school or college students here. I also don't recall girls in high school carrying purses with them (or at least if they did, the purse was within their backpack...). 8:55 "What were you thinking Andy?!"
27:23 "You're the man Steve!"
It's been my deepest pleasure being the hero for my fellow Greed fans.
Thanks bro you’re awesome
8:55 Chuck must of been happy this guy lost, for insulting him about wheel of fortune
Well to be fair Andy insulting Chuck was kind of karmatic payback for Chuck mocking Samara about her speaking too fast. Least I saw it that way lol
@@hiltonlive32grnrngr Chuck's an a-hole!
I don't think so.
i thought the same thing because he threw in a laugh at chucks expense in the prior episode for wheel of fortune
For those who haven't seen it, he basically called chuck Old in a smart a** way
The captain 👨✈️ Randy Osivato 👨 in the orange silk didn't challenge 🏟️ Amy Lolly 👩 in the yellow silk, but Guy Stevenson 👨 did.
The terminator didn't land on Randy.
Chuck Woolery passed away
Steve was a good captain, but just zero personality. The captain needs to keep me attached, and he was dull as hell. Good crew though.
Hey, leave him alone. I thought his personality was fine.
i think he was one of the best captians, extremly knowledgable.
There was another captian that was similar personality but he didnt like the half a million dollar cateogry and said hes quitting and he was a no nonsense person. And he had a freebie left. Robby probably knows who im refering to.
@@hithere3897 Actually, I forget who you're talking about.
Steve seemed to be all business (despite actually being a fan of the show when he got on) and I like that.
Besides if you were playing the game with him as your captain I doubt you'd be complaining about that if he won your team $500k.
On game 🏟️ 83, Guy Stevenson & Mo Feldman go 🚦 home 🏡 with $10,000, but Amy Lolly, Mike Randallman & the captain 👨✈️ Randy Osivato go 🚦 home 🏡 with nothing 😞.
I'm looking for that episode
